Yea, i got Bastion free on VITA bc i own it on PS4. I love cross buy, playing Bastion on the go with dual analog sticks is great. However, Transistor in 2016 is a better game than Bastion. Transistor has far better combat and you can play it in real time, turn based, or both. I thought the visuals, style, and grfx were significantly better in Transistor. The music in Transistor is among the best ever in a game. I enjoyed the narration in both games, but the narration in Transistor was more meaningful bc it's actually talking to you instead of about you. Both games had convoluted stories, but Transistor was more dramatic and intriguing. The boss fights were excellent in Transistor. Putting Sybil out of her misery on stage in the 1st boss fight in Transistor was epic. I don't even recall boss fights in Bastion.

Bastion was good for its time, but Transistor was a better evolution of the formula. Mixing your abilities you could get 100 different power combinations. Imo Transistor is among the best games this generation and a top 25 all-time. The combat, art style, and music/narration is all top notch. I will never forget Red.

I tried to like Bastion, i even thought it would be perfect to play on VITA as i got it free for cross buy. However, it just never enticed me the same way that Transistor did. I loved every second of my two playthroughs and my platinum trophy. Whereas with Bastion i'm forcing myself to try and finish it. Very excited for Pyre.

Why is it always about console exclusives? Why can't he just give his opinion about the game? I haven't tried transistor yet though I've had it free with plus for awhile. I may actually turn it on one of these days, but probably not before Bastion.
