ScreenGurus Louise explores why she believes Hello Games needs to break their silence - or risk gaming history showing them in a negative light.
No Man's Sky on Nintendo Switch 2 offers a major leap in graphics and performance over the original release.
"No Man's Sky - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition brings this excellent, constantly evolving space survival adventure to your new Nintendo console in fine style. This is an almost-perfect match for other versions of the game, barring some very minor hiccups here and there.
Combat is still a bit naff, especially in space, and hardcore pirates might not get all they need from the systems in place here, but other than that, this is an almost perfect port of an almighty behemoth of a game. The sky, it seems, really has no limits." - PJ O'Reilly | NintendoLife
Hello Games has secretly worked on a Nintendo Switch 2 version of No Man's Sky. But there's also a new juicy update that lets you be a mayor.
That's a nice little surprise.
Honestly I gotta hand it to Hello Games. They really turned this game into something else with their dedication to it. A rocky start, but the game is unrecognizable to what we had at launch.
MAN, Hello Games just keeps on trucking with this game, and are REALLY showing other developers how to earn some good will with their fans.
Stoked for Light No Fire.
A little too late
Maybe they already did talk? I suspect that email polygon received from them is the real deal. It does not read like something a hacker would write
I don't mind if they kept quiet as long as they're working on the base building and other improvements. People already have their torches lit and they'll just get jumped on no matter what they say. Too much talk is pretty much what got them into this position in the first place.
They don't need to answer for what has happened. What's done is done, the game is already out for all to judge.
What they need to answer to is what they'll be doing to make it right to everyone who purchased a copy. What kind of single player content will they be releasing (presumably free of charge) to their player base? What's their short term goal for the game, what are their long term goals? What they're going to do is more important right now than the woulda shoulda coulda excuses and media beratement of which serves no purpose other than to degrade and dissuade further development on an impressive "base" game. They need to look ahead, not behind. Great things lie ahead if they persevere
