Ginger: Beyond the Crystal combines elements of Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Mario 64, and more. Does it reinvigorate the platformer genre or is it just a sidenote? You sould tind out in the review.
After some time on Nintendo eShop, Anima: Arcane Edition (which includes the two installments of the series) and Ginger: Beyond the Crystal make the leap to physical format.
It's like a potato was used for the porting process...
Ginger has a lot of promise, but immediately disappoints with the tutorial, and while it gets a bit better afterward, it never elevates from manageable. With all of the platforming greats on Switch, don't fall for this one's ruse.
