looks fun, but japanese developers seriously need to upgrade their engines across the board.
This is why Japan is so far behind the curve in terms of games. This looked terrible.

It was also coming to the Vita, even though it was cancelled everything was developed with that platform in mind. On the other hand I have to agree about how bland the whole thing looks, granted it's a licensed game (based on a manga) from Bandai Namco so what do you expect?
Japans way behind on console games because the return on investment with these super niche games just isn't there. Unless you're MH, DQ, FF or any of the other classic franchises in JP, no one pours millions into anything. Why would you? Crows and games like it are developed with the knowledge that this is only really going to sell to fans of the series, throw 2 million or 100 million at it; It's going to sell the exact same amount of copies.
People expecting Japan to ever see the same output of console games in quantity and quality are the highest level of delusional.

Well this IS a Bamco game, so it doesn't surprise me. I honestly think that the only anime games Bamco are good at are Dragonball, Naruto, and... Hack maybe?
And I'm glad that this game won't be coming to the west, because by the looks of the reviews, this is one of those Japanese games that should stay in Japan. I would rather have a localization of Gundam Breaker and Super Robot Taisen, thank you very much (and stop with the SOA games already!).
