The best exclusives of each console face off.
Probably have to go PlayStation on that one for Uncharted, though Gears is pretty great so far.
lol wiiU 2016 SFZ tho
FH3 and Gears 4
Uncharted 4 and Ratchet & Clank Going with PS4
Exclusive? By definition Playstation wins.
Are we talking exclusive, exclusive? Console exclusive? First party exclusive? Third party exclusive? Platform holder exclusive? So many inclusions/exclusions lately, i can't keep track of the different definitions depending on the topic/circumstance.
Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator and KOF XIV. Clearly the PS4 for me followed by the PC.
I really enjoyed Tokyo Mirage Session #FE this year, but the PS4 has had such a superb year overall for games. I have yet to play Gears of War 4 but I am eager to give it a try on Xbox One. I also think the 3DS is having a great year too.
Here's the absolute best of 2016. Wii U Zelda Twilight Princess HD Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Paper Mario Color Splash PS4 Valkyria Chronicles Remastered Uncharted 4 Dragon Quest Builders Ratchet & Clank DriveClub VR (PSVR) Battlezone (PSVR) Rez Infinite (PSVR) X1 Gears of War 4 Forza Horizon 3 ReCore Lost Odyssey (BC) 3DS Fire Emblem Fates Birthright Fire Emblem Fates Conquest Monster Hunter Generations Bravely Second Dragon Quest VII Kirby Planet Robobot Picross 3D Round 2 Rhythm Heaven MegaMix Pokémon Sun/Moon (promising) VITA Trails of Cold Steel 2 Odin Sphere World of Final Fantasy (promising) There were other games, but these were the cream of the crop for each system imo.
I would also include Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice to the 3DS list. :) It has been a really good year across all platforms. There is something fun to play for everyone.
Gears 4 and Forza Horizon 3 baby.
Purchase a PS4 just for exclusives.
Well, Wii U hasn't had the best year given it's winding down. I did love Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Paper Mario Color Splash and Zelda Twilight Princess though. Pokémon Tournement and Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard were ok. Not a slammin year, but decent given I expected very little this year. As for PS4 (not counting VR) there was a good spread this year. Uncharted 4, Ratchet & Clank, Dragon Quest Builders and Valkyria Chronicles Remastered were all excellent. No Man Sky and Street Fighter V and King of Fighters XIV was ok, and God Eater 2 was ok. World of Final Fantasy looks promising though. Xbox One didn't really get a whole lot, but it did get some really good ones. Gears 4 is the best co-op game I've ever played, and I'm not really a Gears fan (well, now I am!). ReCore was fantastic (I don't care what reviews say that game was excellent), and Forza Horizon 3 is the best arcade racer I've ever played. The BC added Lost Odyssey from the 360 library, and that's the best JRPG I've ever played. So smaller in quantity, but what we got really was extremely solid. 3DS had an extremely good year. Fire Emblem Fates Birthright, Fire Emblem Fates Conquest, Monster Hunter Generations, Shin Megami Tensei IV Final, Dragon Quest VII, Kirby Planet Robobot, Bravely Second, 7th Dragon III: Code VFD, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, Rhythm Heaven MegaMix, Picross 3D Round 2... all excellent. And I know I'm forgetting some there were just so many. Plus Pokémon Sun and Moon is on the way. Great year for 3DS. Vita, eh, not so great. It is getting World of Final Fantasy like PS4 though. That's promising. And it got Trails of Cold Steel 2 and Odin Sphere, which were both solid. All around, great year. Wii U and Vita at least offered a couple gems up. And X1, while not offereing a lot, saw some of the best games of their respective genres to date. PS4 and 3DS brought it home though. Those 2 systems were rollin. Not to mention PSVR which has Battlezone, DriveClub VR and Rez Infinite. Incredible games.
Highest rated exclusive (and not exclusive) this year according to metacritic: UNCHARTED 4 - 93 http://www.metacritic.com/b...
PlayStation has the best exclusives hands down this year.
I think Uncharted 4 but then I think Gears. I think Forza Horizon 3 but then I think Ratchet and Clank. I can't really come to a conclusion on this :/
Well between Wii U and PS4 which I own both. Didn't play any Sony exclusives and with Gravity Rush 2 delay there will be none that I would play. So by default the Wii U wins with Star Fox Zero, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and Pokken Tournament. Even if Gravity Rush 2 did release this year it wouldn't had one but definitely be amazing game probably better than the first which is saying a lot since I love Gravity Rush a lot my favorite game on the Vita that was until The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II. But if I was to say between all system then it's easily the Nintendo 3DS all year and every year.
