PlayStation VR isn’t out until October 13, but you can already download The Playroom VR for free from the PlayStation Store in Europe. A 2.1GB download, it requires PlayStation VR and the PlayStation Camera, and any of the additional players (up to four) just need a DualShock 4 to play.

y'know, VR needs something can can only be achieved while in VR. Immersion isn't enough, it has to have a hook that is so cool that you would want to own one. Having the same games you could play on console doesnt warrant a purchase.
Resident Evil 4 Remake and Village and Gran Turismo 7 alone make it worth it for me. The difference VR makes is so large it more than doubles the enjoyment of these types of quality VR ports. So I disagree. I would love a future where all great 2d games got some kind of a hybrid port to VR.

VR is really starting to flesh out recently. The hardware is finally getting accessible and with the quality it takes to deliver a compelling and immersive experience. Good times ahead. I hope Flat2VR Studios can bridge the gap with some excellent conversions as the industry matures.
Best Buy needs to ship my PSVR already! The paranoia is growing stronger! Will I miss out on the first batch? ARGH.
I downloaded this and another VR demo pack last night. So now while my actual games are installing on my PS4 from the discs I have some stuff to play around with.
Pretty stoked to finally have this. And all my buddy's keep asking me when I'll have it set up so they can come over and try it. None of them are even very techy either. Goes to show that even the general populace are aware of it and interested. PlayStation really needs to get demo models in stores for people to try. The closest ones to me are 45 min away and only available for a day here or there before it moves somewhere else. Kind of a lousy demo plan to get people trying this at the moment.
It also has a platinum trophy for those of you who care. Always a plus!
