If you're in the middle of the venn diagram of people that are enthusiasts of both EDM and freighter trucks, boy I do have a game for you. So far I've seen everyone compare Clustertruck to the "the floor is lava" game we've all played when we were younger. Myself, the first thing I thought of was the Morpheus vs Agent Smith fight in The Matrix Reloaded, but that's probably just me.
Random Nintendo explains how the Switch Online service leaves Nintendo in a weird spot, discusses the potential of newly revealed third-party games like Crystal Crisis and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, and shares impression of eShop physics platformer Clustertruck.
The Switch is going to continue getting highly-rated third party AAA games.
Perhaps not the ones that make emphasis of being realistic-graphics powerhouses that would run like crap on even a base PS4, but it will still get great games from franchises like the Tales of series and from devs like Bethesda and Namco-Bandai.
Nintendo always does something really great and crappy at the same time.. I have a love hate relationship with them.. I have no desire for the online service what so ever.. Sure its not expensive but at the same time, its not a value.. Cloud saves is some BS to lock behind a paywall but so be it.. They couldve let us save data to the FN game carts like they always used to.. Very disappointing..
Clustertruck is a bizarre, wacky, skill-intensive game that’s tough as hell, and you may need to replace your controller before you’re through – if you can manage to put it down.
VGChartz's Evan Norris: "Clustertruck is a great, inspired idea. That idea never makes a proper translation from the theoretical to the practical, however. The game's high level of difficulty and randomness make for some entertaining gifs and rageful videos, but also lead to an often aggravating gaming experience. It's better watched than played, in the end. There you can sit back and observe, voyeuristically, as others are put through the wringer over and over."
