So are they trying to sell the game on GTA Thunder? But hey it looks like a GTA game only set in the late 60ies, so why not

2pacalypsenow3168d ago

Def will be better than GTA 4 and 5 story wise

Why all the GTA V hate? I enjoyed the campaign immensely!

Moe-Gunz3168d ago

No they should be selling it on the Mafia Thunder. It's a very different series than GTA.

Kreisen3168d ago

So you are the head of a major crime family yet you cant even enjoy some titties in your face? Im disappointed honestly.

SniperControl3168d ago

I thought they were talking about Ford Escort's...

Hey...my mom owned two of those during my youth. :)

Cy3168d ago

Well, of course. Because the game is an unvarnished, gritty, no-holds-barred look at the sixties, except where that might annoy SJWs. Which means plenty of white racists but no hookers. You know, just like the real sixties.

Randostar3168d ago

No hookers in the 60's? Not sure you know this, but it takes place in the south. There are def hookers.

He was being sarcastic. ;)

Your sarcasm detector needs some work... stop cooking meth and get on it...

“Early on, we decided that everything Lincoln does either furthers his quest to take down the Italian mob or build up his own criminal family. So, while you can take over prostitution rackets in the city, Lincoln doesn’t have the time or desire to partake,” Blackman said.

So the game DOES depict prostitution as befits the setting – the main character just doesn't partake because it doesn't fit his character. Try reading the article before assuming things next time. It really is amazing that when some people read a headline saying "this game does not include having sex with prostitutes" they immediately assume it's an "SJW" conspiracy, lol.

Well thank you for reading. It's articles that have a catchy title that end up being clickbait garbage thus so many of us just go on with the little summary or title and speak our minds. Can't blame us when 98% of articles are clickbait trash.

Kreisen3167d ago (Edited 3167d ago )

So how does stealing cars, racing through city streets and killing hundreds of random pedestrians play into his grand quest for revenge?
All joking aside most likely it never even crossed their mind to implement something like that in Mafia3. BUT considering the kind of censorship weve seen recently the "theory" that the devs purposely steered away from any relevent interaction between opposite sexes out of fear for SJWs isnt as crazy as it may seem.

I Owe You An Apology, Hideo Kojima, I Wasn't Familiar With Your Game

Hideo Kojima and PlayStation go together like hobbits and breakfasts. That is to say, they're meant to be together, but they're also happy to serve up a PC port or afternoon tea if the time is right. Kojima's long-time collaboration with Sony means it always feels odd to see his name next to an Xbox logo, like Master Chief appearing on your PS5 or glimpsing your teacher in the big Tesco doing her weekly shop.

yawn. ^ All of this opinion piece sounds like someone’s recount when they get out of the norm and go on a hiking vacation and boast about their “life changing moments” over things extremely common and accessible to everyone. Get a rocket ship and take some selfies already. jezzus .

If you missed out on old games it’s nothing to apologize for. Just the way life goes sometimes. We can’t access everything in our short lives.
