It's nothing new on the PC though. The cheapness of the PC market is legendary. It was saved only by steam summer sales. You could have 50 more people say it doesn't make sense but it doesn't change facts. Developers treat you like 2nd class consumers and for good reason.

Yes. The people who bought cheap codes that were obtained through an exploit got screwed. Boohoo, my sympathies. These kinds of situations are why you get shitty ports. It's not worth the time an effort to please this crowd. Like I said, wait for your mod community to fix it. As an Xbox player I'm not looking forward to all of the PC cheaters being in my gears game either. Just a bad group all around.

Nobody cares about PC and yet there are more core gamers on PC than there are on the PS4/Xbone & WiiU combined. There are also more exclusive games released on the PC every year than any of the last gen consoles had in their entire lifecycle, not even counting MMOs.

Regardless though, as Vegamyster already stated, this was an issue with Amazon, not the quality of the games port. Saying nobody cares about PC just because of a 1 time issue with Amazon, makes absolutely no sense.

Says who? How about forza or any other game? The only time a PC game is the better version is if the developers take another year or so to put forth effort like GTA for example. They didn't do that for the money though. GTA 5 has sold 3 million copies this year. If it's coming out the same day then 8 times out of 10 it's garbage. Even with a ridiculously large base they still barely compete with consoles. An open platform, unregulated, unruled paradise. Why isn't this a landslide? The answer is this article. The PC base doesnt support the industry or technology like it should. The enthusiasts do for every platform. You should be happy Microsoft is trying to push people into the PC space. I don't see a big advantage to that as a console gamer but as a business competing with Sony I think it's their only shot.

I'm just saying, anyone that figured out that Amazon glitch, whether on PC or X1, would have used it and been selling them on ebay, and X1 and PC gamers would have both been buying the codes on ebay. 99% of ports are perfectly fine, just because 2 or 3 bad ports come out a year doesn't mean the hundreds of other devs don't care, plus lets not forgot about all the console versions of games with unstable framerates lol.

The only way you could fall for this is if you expect preloaded keys to go for half or in some cases, a quarter of the price. If you don't question your purchases, you deserve to be duped. No such thing as a free lunch. That being said, let's hope you guys can get a refund. No point letting a scammer get your money. Will only encourage others like him.
