North American box art of Yakuza 0 comes with PS4 Console Exclusive Game logo

Amazon has updated its product page for Yakuza 0, revealing the North American box art.

The box art says PS4 Console exclusive rather than just PS4 exclusive.

Idk what's going on but it has the same logo as SFV, which was on PS4 & PC

I think it might happen. PS4 real exclusives like Uncharted would have a Only On Playstation logo.

I'm guessing they they could do a PC version if they wanted to. The agreement that they made with Sony probably only excludes other consoles but not PC.

At least the label is honest.

Think it might mean exclusive to the PS4 family of consoles eg, PS4 & PS4P.

Edit: Didnt the game only release in Japan with no translation to english on PS3? So this English translation version is only releasing on PS4 and not on PS3, hence the "PS4 Console exclusive"

I don't think that logo specifies which Playstation console.

KOFXIV had same box and it is a PS4 exclusive.

In that case Sony is just further confusing me with their two types of exclusive logos. Since KoF XIV is only on PS4, the logo on the box should just say Only on PlayStation.

Is there a PS3 version of KOFXIV? It could just mean it's a PS4 exclusive only and no ps3 version.

No KoF XIV is only on PS4 and no other platform.

There's no reason why the Only on PlayStation logo isn't on the box art.

I think it will come to PC in the future. If not, that would make it a PS4 exclusive and would had the same logo as Uncharted 4...which was "Only on Playstation 4". - (but that is not the case)

And people by know should learn what is the difference between "Console-Exclusive" and "PS4 Exclusive".

It was confirmed by someone in Sega in PS blog that there is no PC version of Yakuza:
"Hey. So, I know that box tag seems a bit ambiguous as to its meaning, but a PC version is not in the cards. The PS4 version is the only version that will exist in the west. (Other point: it was released on the PS3 in Japan, but the PS3 version will not release in the west.)"

I think it's because when Sony okay's the box art for specific games they might only have the exclusive moniker for games that they actually own they cannot speak for Sega so they might put console exclusive simply because they don't own them and do not know where Sega will bring their intellectual properties in the future.

Yakuza 0 is exclusive to the PlayStation 4 by default of sega's choice not by Sony so Sony doesn't know where they'll bring that Series in the future but could not ok that term on their box art based on SEGAs word alone, no one knows what they're going to do with the intellectual property.

Im not suprised....all games will pretty much be going to pc now....hope it gets the fame it deserves now...even thou i dont want pc gamign to suceed i cant doubt a game like this will sell well there i think...

Legitimate question, why don't you want PC gaming to succeed?

There's space for console and PC gaming. I don't believe Sony is putting all their exclusives to PC, it has no benefit to selling more PlayStation consoles which is a huge source of income.

Sega has responded with:

"“All that is confirmed and all that players should expect is a PlayStation 4 release. There is no PC version in production.”

Wish I could find the root source for that quote, but a lot people and some sites are quoting that as an update.
