Hardcore Gamer: "Destiny has been around for two years now, and Bungie has continued to refine the experience through updates, DLC (free and paid), and the all-important expansions. Destiny: Rise of Iron is the latest of these expansions, adding in a new campaign, new weapons and gear, and a few new features. We continue to sink a lot of time into the expansion as we prepare our review, however, while there are quite a few new things to see and do, it’s the missing features that pop into mind. After two years, it’s a bit shocking that the following features are still missing from Destiny."
Destiny has made over $160 million in MTX revenue, and these numbers only account the data from late 2017 to early 2019.
That's extremely low for microtransactions, especially for a game that's essentially designed around it
For as much as ppl complain how much they hate microtransactions, they sure don’t act like it. No wonder they aren’t going anywhere.
In Episode 1 of Spot On, a new weekly news show, Gamespot talks about the dangers of chasing a trend.
Playing Destiny 1 on PC has been something fans have been requesting for years. It looks like Destiny 1 is now playable on PC via the RPCS3 emulator.
I hope there is a little more free DLC before Destiny 2 comes out. Raid matchmaking is a must!
A. POE is still relevant as Variks rewards are high level.
B. Everything you can get with Silver can be obtained in the game through RNG. The emotes, the Ornaments, all of it.
C. LFG solved Raid Matchmaking. If you have enough time to raid, you have enough time to post to lfg to find a group that fits your timetable and experience.
I bought destiny and enjoyed it. But raid matchmaking will be the diff between a buy and pass when destiny 2 eventually comes. Unacceptable that they never put in it. Lost my money for rise of iron. Wont be getting it.
Raid matchmaking. Bungie clearly have no faith in it's player base learning the raid and instead want people to go to alternative matchmaking system on a different website to find groups which is apparently a better way of doing it... Despite being pretty much the same thing.
If they were to implement some type of in game lfg. They would need to add detailed stats on completion, playtime, k/d etc. This way you could attempt to weed out the guys trying to get carried. When I was active during kings fall, I had to explain the raid mechanics about 20 different times, It became a pre-rehearsed sales pitch and became annoying.
