VR Moments: The Irrational Realisation of Imminent Death

Say goodbye to forfeiting games and hello to extreme panic.

The story is too old to be commented.

Very interesting read. Thats that immersion factor.

I think VR could open up a lot for people with Psychological phobias. Imagine cognitive behavioral therapy in VR. Someone with fears of spiders could engage them in VR in order to overcome the fear. Or someone with social phobia could practice standing in front of an audience and give a speech. VR is going to change a lot of things.

I've read quite a few practices are using VR and AR for that very purpose as we speak. You can even grab apps for speaking in front of audiences from the GearVR store and the like right now and try it out in your own home. It is an interesting format for sure.
