Have you ever noticed the phenomenon in the film industry where there will
be near identical films released within close proximity of each other? The question is, does this happen with games?

I think it is informatative as in there are literally no differences :D

You don't understand the world literal.

If there is even one small difference....they are not the same.

MajorHindsight3135d ago

I used it in the fashion that is pretty standard on the Internet. As a form of slight exaggeration. But thanks for the tip 😊

Perjoss3135d ago

I hear the differences are very few :D

The dunkey video about it is pretty damn funny

lipton1013135d ago

The difference is BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT. That says it all. Top tier developer vs ... umm.. who again?

Hahahaha..... Everything is practically Team Fortress 2

Edit: Is this an article about differences or similarities? Everything is pointing towards similarities.
The actual difference is that, Paladins is free and doesn't have the different game modes such as the clone of Rocket League.

MajorHindsight3135d ago

It is a bit of a joke, poking some harmless fun :) There are very few differences between the games. The conclusion is that if you can spend the money then get Overwatch, but Paladins is a fine free alternative. The Rocket League clone (Lucioball) was only a Brawl during the Olympics, it is not there anymore.

Perjoss3135d ago

Team Fortress 2 is a cool game but the original was a quake mod, if anyone deserves this credit its those mod makers.

peewee110163135d ago

Every claiming its a clone. But yet this game was in Closed beta with most of the char and skills way before overwatch was even shown.... LoL

BlackTar1873135d ago

That doesn't mean it wasn't a clone. Unless you're saying Blizzard stole from them which is doubtful since if i remember correctly this is a game that was made based on the cancellation of Titan.

peewee110163135d ago

Titan was not an FPS. Titan was an Open world MMO type game but went dark. And no i am not saying it copied im just saying this game is not a clone.

When Overwatch was good and fun, now who the hell cares. Blizzard is just shit and doesn't care about it's employees. OW2 just needs to go away.

Former Blizzard President Wanted to Reduce Diablo 4 Microtransactions and Reboot Overwatch

Former Blizzard president Mike Ybarra wanted to cut back on Diablo 4 microtransactions and reboot Overwatch.

Giga_Gaia195d ago

"But, his push for these changes made him unpopular with some Blizzard employees." He was the president, should have just fired them.

Wretchedstain195d ago

...from a cannon... into the sun.

Shane Kim195d ago

The president is appointed by the board. Probably those who didn't like him.

SimpleDad195d ago (Edited 195d ago )

That's why he is a former president.
D4 bad.

PapaBop195d ago

I can just imagine the scene between him and Kotick being something like a scene in Simpsons with Mr Burns feigning interest while repeatedly pressing his button.

jznrpg195d ago

MS didn’t buy ABK to get rid of MTs. They want more

neutralgamer1992195d ago

Sadly any positive changes that we as gamers thought might take place are over and done with

Tacoboto195d ago

Are people really buying what Ybarra is selling?

Remember - this is the same guy that said he wishes you could leave a tip after buying a game.

Him saying now he wanted to *reduce* MTX is riiiiich, seems like he's using Schreier's book to try and save face now that he doesn't have to face his former employees.
