As the dust settles on the nuclear wasteland epic that is Fallout 4 everyone starts turning their attention to the game that is bound to follow, Fallout 5. There are no dates yet of course, it’s way too early for that. It’s important to remember that there are things in Fallout 4 that can be even better in Fallout 5 if they just tweaked things a bit.
We all owe Fallout 76 an irradiated beer or two.
Wouldn’t that change a lot gameplay wise
I mean it’s cool don’t get me wrong but what about Rad infested areas and the like, would Ghouls be able to walk through without a care in the world
I good see the following pros and cons of playing as a ghoul.
pros :
1. Regeneration
2. Radiation immunity
cons:
1. Low charisma and bartering
2. Some NPCs will shoot a ghoul on sight, thus altering guests.
3. Potentially become a glowing ghoul. You emit radiation that can harm your companions but you are empowered by radiation. NPCs that tolerant ghouls may now not tolerant you.
Its about time. They let you choose different classes in elder scrolls, why not fallout?
It may be years away, but whenever it arrives, Fallout 5 needs to improve on its predecessor in several areas.
They really need to get rid of weapon mods and bring back more unique weapons that are hard to get / find
They won't improve it other than a slight graphical upgrade. They have always been better at live action than making games.
Only way it could improve is taking it away from Bethesda and regroup Classic Fallout (1&2) devs with decent budget and time to make it.
Following the success of the TV show, Microsoft is reportedly in talks to fast-track Fallout 5 with the help of a studio other than Bethesda.
Yeah, allow the studio that hasn't slam dunked any games In recent memory to "fast track" the next Fallout game.
Good, microsoft should look at their IP's with value and protect them from devs like bethesda after disasters like Starfield. Everyone would lose their minds if obsidian was able to make another fallout even though the new vegas team is long gone. .
What I want to see is more of a focus on role playing and choices. Something Fallout 4 was lacking...
And if they go too deep into the roleplaying end, then the shooting and combat may prove too archaic and stiff for this generation of gaming. Not that Fallout 4scombat is high caliber, but it is a vast improvement pver the older titles.
I would like to see them possibly introduce mounts to the game.
Other than that I'm pretty fine with what they've done with the Fallout series. I also can't wait to see what obsidian does Fallout New Orleans!!!!!
More rpg like 3 and Vegas.
