Explaining Griff - The Winged Lion's Odd Kickstarter Exodus

Josh Griffiths writes: "Over at least a couple of days, it didn't collect a single penny. In a bizarre twist, developer Breakerbox Studios canceled the Indiegogo campaign and moved to Kickstarter. Speaking with project lead and Breakerbox Studios founder Jake Pawloski, we now know what’s going on behind the scenes."

That's some really strange reasoning. Makes me nervous.

Actually, it was never the reasoning behind changing to Kickstarter. At the top of the articfle, the quotes say the reason is the pre-established gamer community and wider recognition among people. It also mentions the original reason for going with Indiegogo was its flexibility. Kickstarter was a more plausible decision in the end because of this. Later, during a conversation about what good things there were about both, I mentioned cool things about both; how Indiegogo allows 1080p 60fps videos which WAS cool considering Griff benefits from this due to its pixely edges (looked good) and that another cool thing is it adds to youtube views. He then wrote back asking why it was SO important to use youtube. I answered that it wasn't important, as mentioned in the article. He then wrote in the article stating that we based our decisions on the youtube factor, but you see based on what I explained there, that this had nothing to do with our decision and he simply misinterpreted that aspect. Sorry for the confusion, it seemed weird to me too.
