So try something different, but don't try something different? If anyone can get it through their thick skulls, this is not the next mainline game, it's a spin-off, and it was stated that if they started working on the mainline title on Wii U (interview was last year) then it would take 2 - 4 years to get it out, so it's likely already in development for NX.

Hopefully you're right. They seem to be going in circles lately!

Fairly well written article. I hope Nintendo is watching and learning. I also hope that fans outcry can evolve into quiet contempt and wallet voting. Find something else to play, there are lots of other options. Who knows? You might find something that you like better than your nostalgia for a certain IP.

Super Paper Mario is by far my favorite. The sticker stuff they came out with after was a terrible way to go. Super has an amazing fun story with humor beyond any other mario game before it. I loved the platforming style WAY more than turn based mechanics that pause the games progress and make it much longer than needed. The sticker idea was the worst thing the series ever did. I bought a 3ds to play it and I wish I had never bought the console.
