Warframe 2016 Update (The Future of Free to Play)

"Warframe is a free-to-play title that appears regularly in the top twenty games played on Steam. This is by having a wealth of content and free updates for no subscription fee. In essence, everything can be achieved without the payment of a credit card. In my personal opinion, I think that World of Warcraft or Star Wars: The Old Republic will lose players annually, while Warframe will become stronger every year. This is because unlike other MMO’s, Warframe gives the players choices. One such choice is in the beginning of the opening level, where you as the player have an option of picking three distinctive characters with differing abilities as well as a choice of three primary and secondary weapons."

Tell you what, I was a skeptic prior to playing this game, but was I wrong. Hell, I've been playing this game for about a year and didn't spend on cent. Items I've found or crafted, I was able to sell at the trading locations and obtain in game currency (platinum) to buy premium items (like new skins, color palettes, elements, etc). You'll always find people to play with.

My only complaint is the multiplayer....stay away from it (It's similar to Destiny's wherein, unless you're a super high level that maxed out the best weapons, you'll get schooled each time); stick with either playing with co-op or swinging it alone.

Been playing since it came out. I spent about $60, but only to reward the devs for their efforts. That being said, the longer you play...the more you learn...it really becomes free. I quit for about six months during the great Destiny arrival. Only to go right back to it. People who dismissed the game even a year ago will come back to a pretty different playing game. That, imo, is what I like about it. It's always evolving....even down to the core mechanics. I might take breaks. But, it will always be in rotation for me. Glad someone else appreciates it. Hell, I even wrote an update blog about it over a year ago. Lol

A game made by gamers, for gamers. This is a big reason why I like it so much. My biggest gripe is the nerfs they keep passing out, otherwise it's a good game.
