That's a nice amount of gameplay, almost similar to most major titles nowadays.

Alexious2789d ago

Yeah, only a few huge games have longer longevity. I'm a completionist myself, so I'll always complete all the side stuff at least (not collectibles though).

If Life is Strange is anything to go by, it might be collectibles but then again this is a very different game so the achievements will be interesting to see, can't wait for this one though!

ccgr2789d ago

Agreed, will have to keep an eye out for this one

Nice can't wait to play it. Really love the setting and being a vampyr

freshslicepizza2789d ago

combat looks a bit clunky but overall nice.

i often wonder, why do people play with subtitles on games but not on movies? i can't stand them on either unless it's a foreign language.

This is a shame. I was looking forward to the game. I'll wait for a price drop. I was expecting Witcher 3 levels of entertainment. Looks good, though.

Alexious2789d ago

They don't have the budget or manpower for a game that huge. Still, I'm very much looking forward to play this!

@ MilkMan

I know what you mean. Guys keep praising games that have this kind of game length, which they may well be a good game and all, but........................... I'm sitting over here on my first 200 hours for ANY Souls title, literally, not had below a 200 hour play through for any Souls title. Not to mention I've been playing The Witcher 3 since launch, who knows how many hours I have under that game. My guess would be 250 hours and I just hit Skellige Islands with a million ?'s on the screen.

Take the game Inside for instance. Great game. Excellent platformer. I started it up..............two and a half hours later...........game is finished. Great game, but way too short. "That's how that type of game is supposed to be." What, platformers in general? Salt and Sanxtuary has length. Shadow Complex had some length, not much, but enough. Same with these linear titles. Twelve hours in length??????? Really? I'm supposed to give this "Game of the Year" when other games are a hundred times longer in length and the games are just as good and even better in most cases. I was actually going to apologize for saying this, but now the more I think about it, I'm not going to. Gamers are pretty stupid these days for letting this slide.

Keep praising these 20-30 hour play throughs and guess what the devs are gonna get you for Christmas next year..........a 20-30 hour play through again. Nothing will change.
