Who would want to play an indie farming simulator? That's exactly what Stardew Valley is and it's apparently a great game! So I had to play it for myself to see if all the praise was actually true. Will this game actually live up to the hype or be a big disappointment?
ConcernedApe has reassured fans on social media that this version of the game is still in progress, and acknowledges the fact it is "taking a long time". This version, along with the mobile port, has been the "primary focus" for the team since the rollout of this update on the PC in March.
Stardew Valley has an impressive amount of lore and depth for an independent video game, and delving into it when time has passed could be fun.
Let’s just get Haunted Chocolatier released first. We still don’t even have a whisper of a release date. And ConcernedApe will probably do updates for HC for a few years. We’re likely nearly a decade away from Stardew Valley 2.
I love SV but I wish he had just moved onto Chocolatier instead of continuing to add to SV. But I think he mentioned it’s therapeutic or something so I can’t be mad. I do highly respect his commitment to his craft.
