GRTV had a chat with the Xbox marketing executive.
I'd say look for us to share more on that next year. Really we're focused on our games lineup, things like Xbox One S and all the things we're delivering for customers this year. We feel like we have a really rich offering and its great to see things like Xbox One S already being sold out in a lot of markets. We're seeing really strong pre-orders for a lot of our top games this holiday like Forza Horizon 3 and things like that".
Meta writes: "Xbox and Meta teamed up last year to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) to Meta Quest, letting people play Xbox games on a large 2D virtual screen in mixed reality. Now, we’re working together again to create a limited-edition Meta Quest, inspired by Xbox."
The Razer Iskur V2 is a high quality, premium gaming chair that your back will thank you for.
AMD has long been the best value option if you're looking for a new GPU. Now even their latest Radeon RX 7000 series is getting cheaper.
Basically, when you lose interest in Forza, Gears of War, and Halo.......your X1 is an media app only console. I took a gamble and jumped on Quantum Break. I like that they gave me episodes I could watch and it fitted pretty good in the game, while your doing your play through. I thought that was something really different and out of the bag new, I haven't seen a game like that before. Decent game, not game of the year by any means. Rise of the Tomb Raider is pretty good. It does pretty much everything I wish Uncharted did and vice versa of course. But those are the only two games I have bought for X1 in the past two years.
If Microsoft would bring out some new Ip's that interest me. I would take a glance at the Scorpio in the future. Which Microsoft may very well be working on those. Sea of Thieves I probably can't get into very much. Same with Recore. Scalebound looks pretty average. But to some those may be there Game of Year, to each his own. Crackdown 3 I'm thinking is going to be the most overrated destruction game we have ever seen. So it takes multiple minutes to bring down one building..........so if I'm the enemy......I'm jumping ship before that happens and guys are going to be waisting there time dropping buildings with no enemies inside. Just doesn't look like it would be much fun.
Pretty much that's why I'm so interested in Neo/Sony at the moment. There Ip's are just more me I guess. Uncharted series, Bloodborne. I also have a feeling we will have another From Software exclusive deal going down in the next year with Sony. Like they have twice in the past and maybe more before Demon's Souls and Bloodborne, only ones I know about. Naughty Dog isn't cutting ties with Sony probably ever and their the best linear games I've ever played. Tomb Raider is a close second though.
I have been an Xbox Live Gold account holder for seven years now and I'm not giving that up anytime soon. Yes, even if I'm not buying games I still want all the Gold features and free games, so I will renew of course, for now. I'm not finished with Quantum Break yet and Rise of the Tomb Raider DLC is along the way as well. But I just need that new IP from Microsoft. Without it, the Scorpio would be pointless sitting on my shelf.
"Look for us to share more on Project Scorpio next year"
Did anyone expect more info this year already? I didn't. Nothing is final yet and am sure they are eagerly awaiting what Sony is gonna show this year too so they have plenty of time to make changes...
Nice Bring it
I'll be waiting..
Looking forward to the best console ever
