Let’s look at the path Metroid Prime: Federation Force took to release, the fans’ response, and, in a way, how Nintendo has already declared it dead in the water before it’s August 19th release date.
Alex DS. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "Now that the series seems to have found its footing again, it’s a good time to revisit one of the most maligned titles Nintendo has ever released and ask the question – Metroid Prime: Federation Force, was it really that bad?"
It's the Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z of Nintendo. Who had this idea in the first place?
Ever just look at a game and go, "who wanted this?" We take a look at 11 ill-conceived Nintendo games that rose that question.
CGM (painfully) revisited a game from each year between 2010-2019, highlighting releases that surprised players - for all the wrong reasons.
Is this even a question we still need to discuss? It's the art style and how it's a spinoff after we haven't had any game in awhile. Playing as the space marines is an interesting angle, don't get me wrong.
I'll approve your clickbait, but as BrandanT said, we all know that it's not a canon Metroid, and Nintendo is skipping a generation without giving us a proper sequel.
(and I actually enjoyed Other M...that was 2010!!!)
Why all the obvious transparent good reviews which spend more time defending the game rather then coming up with legit reasons to why it's good and is s Metroid game?
Ummmm we've been waiting YEARS for a new metroid game and they finally make one on a handheld without the main character and has nothing to do with metroid! Let's make a Mario game without Mario in it! Nintendo is full of a bunch of fucking morons stuck in the 80's and they better pray to the god the NX doesn't bomb or there fucked!!!
Because it looks like shit. Metroid prime hunters is the style they should have went with.
