TIME writes: "The game is wonderful — but I can't go back ."
Next up, why I changed my laundry detergent.
Next up, i have a girlfriend so i'm not gaming anymore.
I stopped playing because my balls itched!
@Saryk too much detail mate, pls stop.
I stopped cause I realized that whatever you did on the first planet you'll be doing add-Infinitum. So what's the point? Deus Ex is coming out in a few days. Give your fingers a break for a real game.
That describes most games.
you're pretty much describing most - every game homie
Yet they gave it a review score of 90. Yet they stopped playing so soon. So either this article is full of it or their review score is. Which one I've played the game. It's not a 90.
This guy says he stopped playing because "No Man’s Sky is, on paper, a multiplayer game about exploring outer space." He said he can't find anyone tho and feels lonely. Really? a multiplayer game? Guess he hasn't been paying attention & probably didn't research the game at all. This site also gave the game a 90/100 in their review, probably just picked a high number because all the other MSM sites had been hyping it up non-stop since it was announced
I'm baffled by the number of people, both in forums and in the press, who just don't comprehend what this game is. It's very niche. It isn't a crafted RPG. It's something completely different, which is why I think people are disappointed with it. They keep wanting to push this game into a previous category, but it just doesn't fit. Is it a survival game? An exploration game? A space combat game? The ultimate answer is no, but it does have that stuff in it. This is a game for people who poured over classic sci-fi novels. People who looked at the covers of these books and were mesmerized by the strange and wonderful worlds that were displayed. They were amazing. People (like me) saw them and said, "I want to go there. I want to walk around in those worlds." And that's what No Man's Sky provides. For some it's a boring, resource management game. For others, it's like god damn euphoria injected directly into their veins. I for one can not stop playing it, and I'm loving every second of it.
wah i'm so lonely :(
why i shat
I played it +10 hours and i really liked it at first, but now the game just became a choir to play.
So he stopped because he felt lonely? Well, i understand that someone doesn't like that feeling, so it's normal he stopped. The same happens to me in completely empty planets, where i'm alone with rocks, dust and winds. And that's why i like it. The game makes me feel something, a lot of things, from "Wow..." with breathtaking views to "gotta catch'em all!!" when i manage to find the small creature hidden in the cave, the one before getting a lot of units ;) Someone just feels bored, that's normal too, it's not for everyone and i understand that. Meanwhile i don't understand who keeps insulting the game and has no idea what he/she's talking about.
I play it still and I'm responding with: Why I don't care
no man's sky is the perfect game when you want to play something but take a break from all the competitive games. The problem is there's too many games to play so it's likely when you'll want to play something else you haven't tried yet.
