Has The Division already been forgotten by the gaming industry?
saw this coming when i played the beta.. DZ got got boring quick..
The awkward post-launch period didn't help things at all.
That's what I get for trusting Ubi. Betting Wildlands will suck ass too.
I was so psyched for wildcards but the last trailer turned me off it. Edit: Bah! Meant wildlands xD
For me it lasted 2 weeks, then Dark Souls 3 came out and i've never touched it again since then.
This seems to be a common theme. People abandoned the game about a month after launch and never came back. Makes me wonder if they could turn it round
With so many games coming up after the Summer Drought...I doubt that FFXV South Park Gears of War 4 Dishonored 2 Last Guardian COD Deus Ex Mankind Divided Watch Dogs 2 Battlefield 1 and so on...
That seems to definitely be the case. With all these games being released so often, I feel like it gives gamers a case of ADHD. If there's too many choices to select, then customers will move onto the next seemingly best thing... I don't see how any MP game can survive too long with so much competition.
It will long gone by the time the movie releases.
Im feeling a straight to dvd scenerio. Ubisoft is wating money making movie about a game that had horrible reception, lack luster story and issues around every street vendor
Yup Boring as hell. People just see the game for what it is in the present and don't think if the type of game it is will last long. The answer is, like The Criew no...it won't Same will happen to Wildlands
Wildlands actually looks worse recent gameplay show a seriously bad downgrade and mediocre gameplay
Thats what perfection looks like lmao
Ubisoft's what? What's a Division?
Says the guy posting in a division article. Funny watching all these people trying to downplay. If you didn't care you would have moved on and not even clicked on this article.
Wow. It was a joke.
Those that don't play the game would think this of course.
And there is a lot of those who bought it and left it.
I put hundreds of hours into it. The last time I played after the last big update, and for less than an hour as it seems each update just makes things worse. Before that I hadn't played in quite a while, there are just too many games releasing to stick with one for more than a month or two.
Well, playing a game for hundreds of hours. ..doesn't sound like a bad game at all.
It was OK, but got progressively worse with every change. I only managed so much time into it because I had a lot of free time then as I'd crashed my bike and wasn't very mobile for about a month.
Just needs more SP DLC
This, I totally agree. Really love the game itself, graphics are nice, mechanics are great, but I want more story stuff! The SP experience I found to be much better than the MP part.
Great game. That got boring. Waited for the dlc. Very thin on content. Traded it in. It lasted well, only because my friends were playing with me. As a single gamer, this game would not be worth buying.
I actually like the Division and play it often. So alot of lone wolfing.
guess i'm the loner in here then, cuz I still plays it.
I still play as well.
I got about a month out of it. There was just too many bugs and glitches that fundamentally broke the game. I'm back to destiny.
They were super slow at fixing the holes in the game and the cheaters ran wild for too long spoiling the game. I hear not the enemies are way more bullet spongy that they were at launch. I really enjoyed my time with this title, i even almost bought the pass, but Ubi just didn't seem to care about the game after launch.
It has by me!
This was off my radar soon after I tried the beta.
But here you are posting in article months after launch, go figure. Considering you never even played the full retail game.
So retail was wildly better than the beta? Oh my god I should run out and buy it. Tool.
I remember when the Rainbow Six games were transformational titles...oh wait that's the other forgotten Ubisoft game.
Rainbow 6 seige is amazing and has more players playing right now then they did at launch
That was the only good recent Ubi game. I wanna buy it, but vowed to not support Ubi.
Good thing Sony didn't bet on this horse. You could tell after all of the delays and downgrades that it was a rough game overall.
What does it have to do with Sony? Lmao
Average game at best so not surprising Over hyped like many ubi games but sadly ubi won't learn since millions bought it
I forgot about it when I heard there was not a true single player story campaign.
How does an article entirely about whether the Division is sustaining or forgotten completely fail to mention active player numbers?
Even though is is better then destiny, they're both crap and boring after a week
I played for about a month post launch and they did an amazing job creating a beautiful chaotic new York city seriously even on ps4 and with the downgrade it recived it was just nice to look at. Unfortunately they didn't put much in that beautiful city besides wash rinse and repeat waves of enemies, random stragglers and a story that feels half assed. Had a ton of potential really but when all the focus was placed on the darkzone the main game felt lacking and pointless
Good, this is to show ubisoft and others devs and publishers that this trend of "Online only games" is not the trend we want. We want a quality SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN with also a multiplayer feature. Not multiplayer only. Look at titanfall 2 they are giving it a campaign and star wars battlefront will also receive a campaign. Nothing beats a good ole campaign, GTA V, dark souls 3, witcher 3, fallout 4, uncharted 4, halo 5, etc. but im glad they are releasing watchdogs 2. And will there be another AC?
about par for the course for online multiplayer only titles. flavor of the week turns to shite after about a month.
You guys never learn, Ubisoft take the money and run, you people keep supporting it so you only got yourselves to blame
Yes, yes it has
Ubisoft's The What?
Just do a splinter cell game with micheal ironside and we are good ubi
Don't know about the gaming industry but for myself, I have forgotten about it. Traded it in and haven't looked back. It's a shame because the game play is actually really fun and there's a lot of customisation.
Once all the single player stuff was taxed. I forgot it and obviously they forgot the SP experience. Won't buy this title ever again.
The Division is amazing! Said all our hype brains Would sooner watch paint dry on some half dried paint that's drying on some dry paint. Real shame. Couldn't even be bothered with the first incursion
yes now on with Wildlands already!!
Reached lvl 30 in a week then shelved the game and forget about it. Game is victim to its own hype
I actually really like the game except for the DZ...and I think the Underground expansion was nice. That being said, I've pretty much completed every goal I intended to complete....but at times a it's a great game to mindlessly grind while I'm watching TV or something. If they come out with a substantial add-on/Division 2, I will definitely play it. Like Destiny, I feel the game has a solid foundation and they just need to work on adding more story/raids/strikes etc.
I saw it coming since the beta. Same with BF:E3.
I picked up the latest DLC and started playing with a group of friends who still enjoy the game. It's their first rpgmmo like game so they dig it. I got burned out after Destiny though and Division is half the potential of that game. It's not bad playing with friends but yeah, not that good of a game.
The Division? Whats that?
