A commented developer's walkthrough of previously unannounced third-person Warhammer 40k videogame surfaced today on the internet. Mostly inspired by Gears of War and Heavenly Sword, and even though still in an early alpha stage, already it seems to be a straight answer to all those who complained about W40K Firewarrior.

It is a really solid game with engaging melee combat and shooting mechanics. Also the feeling of power is great! Please, sequel this

Gameplay looks too slow paced and limited in actions i hope they stop working on making it pretty and start making it playable. Translation make it be less stiff or increase the blows effects on the enemies which thinking about it would go better with the idea of a space marine which is rather clumsy but oh so powerfull.
I hope they have a custom stystem where you can design your own marine and a cover system. You should be able to shoot, I know warhammer is all about hand to hand but come on. The game looks good I like the overkill that's a nice touch, many of these games fail because of a lack of variety I hope this isn't the case for this game. Hopefully this game won't be all about shoot stun,run, and kill in close combat.
I have always hated Games workshop for this, they are sitting on a treasure trove and they are just wasting it with bad rules and overely expensive models. This game has just as much fiction and background as star wars and they're not even considering a cartoon series or movie which all their fans have been begging for, but they'll sit back until one of the fans make something happen and then stick out there hands. I hate GW.
