very surprised by this classic, a great 2D shooter with a story, binged through it in 2 days, it was still challenging and enjoyably even in easy mode.

I love that second mission. It gets so intense. This is why I've played video games since 1983.

quit on frustration a few times, but changed gear combos and made it, Dark Souls like satisfaction, then again almost all games gave that feeling back then

@NewMonday The thing about this game that really sets it apart from the typical sidescroller is the loadout factor and the feel of the controls. At moments, it really feels like a 2D Armored Core, which is made by the same team and director as DS.
