INDIE VIDEO GAME developers fear AAA companies first VR titles will be sloppy and full of errors as they "haven’t been paying attention" to Indie teams.
Thirdverse, the Japan-based VR studio behind Swords of Gargantua, Altair Breaker, and X8, announced that its VR multiplayer JRPG SOUL COVENANT is coming to all major headsets next month. Developed by the core team behind SOUL SACRIFICE (2013), players are thrust into a post-apocalyptic Tokyo in the franchise’s first VR expansion.

Not surprising at all. Indies get into VR for the love of technology, AAA publishers get into VR for purely business reasons. The Indies are more likely to spend the time to get it right
