LOL @VGChartz. They pretty much take a guess on what the sale figures are at. They over track and under track pretty much everything they track.

Playstation nation domination in all regions.

JEECE3216d ago

@MagicBeanz

To be fair, Xbox fans started hating on VGChartz once it became clear that the numbers from Europe and the rest of the world were allowing PS3 to outsell and catch up to the 360, despite its advantage in the US. Then it became all about NPD.

leoms3216d ago

Agreed, they seem to overtrack the Xbox sales and undertrack the PS4.

Angeljuice3216d ago

It's not an easy task to track sales figures when Microsoft refuses to release them.
Can't think why they may want to do that, can you?

XanderZane3215d ago

@MagicBeanz
No idea. They have always over tracked and under tracked hardware and software sales. Even during the XBox 360 and PS3 they were making guesses. Even the owner said they were estimating and then updating the figures after the NPD numbers are released. Even with the NPD numbers we know they aren't getting all the figures.

@Cindy-rella
Yes the Playstation is dominated, just like the Wii did last gen.

@JEECE
Both Playstation and XBox fans hated on VGChartz last gen for many reasons. NPD has more accurate figures then anything in Europe. Europe tracking is missing a lot of figures from several countries. No one has 100% accurate sales figures except for the companies who produce the systems.

PS4 should be close to 50 million after Christmas. Nintendo needs to release the NX already

JEECE3216d ago

Maybe more if they actually put out the rumored slim version and get the price around $250.

VGchartz tends to undertrack SONY, while overtracking whatever Microsoft pushes out, so the real numbers are probably closer 45-48 million for PS4 and 14 - 16 million for Xbone.

Bobafret3216d ago

14-16 million for X1? Next it will be 10 million. You people are frustrating as hell to watch.

JEECE3216d ago

Yeah, it's definitely lopsided, but not that badly. EA put out some numbers early in the year that confirmed by implication that Xbox was around 20 million. So it's definitely a little higher now.

XanderZane3216d ago

Comedy Central has a spot for you on their show. They love jokes. Your numbers are more off then VGChartz.

MachuchalBrotha3163215d ago

Xbox has surpassed that..but of course you will disagree.
