Lightning Returns, with how they "resolved" the story of Caius, Noel and Yeul.

FF13-1 was really pretty (CGI).

FF13-2 goes the crappy route, with some time-altering BS.

FF13-LR has a ME3-ending kind of feel to it all.

I felt 13-1 kind of had a happy ending finality to it that really didn't sit well with me. I actually liked the overall story, once I took the effort to know what it was and what everything meant...which made it a poorly delivered story, but the ending was rather tropish and lackluster. Was quite beautifully presented though.

13-2 made no sense in the continuity. Main story plot was fine, and kind of touching, but then the final moment you have no clue what happens or at least why and how it was somehow meaningful, and then it's over. When you have to go to the internet and do copious searching to find someone who understood how it all relates, it's just not a good ending. Wasn't even abstract or mind-f*ck quality, just poor and trying to be emotional for emotional sake. Think they went too hard for an alternate universe, while still trying to keep that universe tied to the original.

13-3 Don't really explain why the end of 13-2 was important at all, and you really had to struggle to connect the dots to the prior games, because I think at that point, the devs were just trying to change anything anyways. Game play was really good, but the story was just a convoluted mess all around, and honestly, the ending I don't even remember, nor most of the main story sub plot things that actually happened in the game, because none of it made sense to begin with....so guess I'd have to say it was the worst for not being memorable at all. About all I can remember is that the series characters story arcs were concluded with them coming to terms with something...but not sure what that something was, or how they even got to that point.

Which you have obviously never played or if you have and you say something like that then you probably never played it to completion. Of course, if you played the game to completion and still say that then you really are a glutton for punishment.

Personally, I don't have any hate for FF13 since it is pretty much like most FF games in that it is on rails for most of the game. Of all the previous single player FF games it had the best graphics (kind of captain obvious here). At least you did not have random encounters although it is fairly difficult to run away or avoid an encounter like you could in FF12. With FF13-2 you did have random encounters.

Like all single player FF games FF13 also had the so-called "battle arena" in that you did not actually fight in the area where you encountered the enemy although you did fight in a reasonable facsimile of the area. The exception to the "battle arena" fight was FF12 where you fought in the exact area you encountered the enemy and in addition, you could position your combatants in the area you are fighting.

Mass Effect 3 Indoctrination ending, thats all I have to say. Giving you the choice to do what was said impossible: resist indoctrination, is a very powerful choice. It was one of those endings where not even the player noticed what was going on, and that is worth something to me. It still may not me the omni choice ending that was expected, but it is still pretty insidiously good despite having to brainstorm a new ending after the original got leaked.

Prince of Persia's main game ending was one of the most memorable, IMO.
I was all ready to release the Evil back into the world, just so I could bring my beloved Elika back to life.

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics - Co-op Review

"After defining/redefining the fighting game genre with Street Fighter II and its many iterations and sequels, Capcom also spent much of the 1990s creating beloved fighters bas ed on Marvel properties. This fisticuff-laden Marvel series started with X-Men: Children of the Atom in 1994 and reached a pinnacle with Marvel vs. Capcom 2 in 2000. Following the success of the Capcom Fighting Collection and Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle, Capcom has finally bundled all of their Marvel fighters onto modern platforms as Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics. And what’s more, the 1994 co-op beat ‘em up The Punisher is included as well," says Co-Optimus.
