When you hear the name “Insomniac Games” several things probably come to mind. Fast and fluid 3D combat, colorful and humorous characters, and wacky weapons…just to name a few. Since that team is responsible for games like Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet and Clank, and Sunset Overdrive, you wouldn’t be wrong to think that. Song of the Deep, the newest release from Insomniac Games, is a departure in many ways from what the developer is known for. It’s a smaller, intimate experience that highlights a different side of the team. With a great premise and an excellent developer on board, does Song of the Deep sink or swim?

You might not want to hold your breath for a Nintendo Switch version of Song of the Deep. Insomniac Games has confirmed that it has “no plans” to bring the title to Nintendo’s latest console.
And why would they? Tge licence fee to make, the price of switch games... No. Nintendo really dont want 3rd party support outside pokemon and monster hunter
Its been out since 2016? Has anyone here played it, I never saw it on PSN. It must not have made quite a 'metroidvania' splash like Shadow Complex and Axiom Verge did.
