This is far better then its reviewing for. You have to play it longer then an hour to know that tho. Its minecraft only alittle more serious. It a early access type game where you craft forts, explore and fight off hordes of zombies. So much to do i'm haven a great time with it. I see more and more of my friends buying into it as well.

These reviews are very disappointing, that's for sure. This is such a fun coop game, it really sucks seeing all of these people crapping on it. I saw a review saying it was a survival game inspired by Minecraft, but was held back by outdated graphics....
Inspired by MINECRAFT... but held back by outdated graphics... Okay..
I guess if you ignore the fact that the graphics in this game are significantly better than Minecraft(which is a great game), that makes sense...

* I hate to edit a comment this long after making it, but I REALLY hate replying to myself...
This game has a ton of slowdown/framerate issues. My friend got a bluescreen(ps4) on a couple of occasions. So I wouldn't be so rude as to say it is going over people's heads. The complaints are warranted, I just love all of the things is does right, more than I am bothered by the shortcomings.

Minecraft can get away with having basic graphics as they're heavily stylised. 7 Days to Die's graphics are both basic and horrible; there's no artistic flare whatsoever.

I disagree, I have been given a chance to review this game and after 17-20 hours I found many issues that were irritating and unacceptable, and although I completely understand the game is in early access on PC this has been released on a retail disc on consoles, with no promise of updates or any mention to those that haven't followed it that it is currently an early access title, this should have come through the xbox preview program if unfinished. However the potential for a great game is indeed there.

You're right. It's a low budget, unfinished, game that's being sold as full price. It makes Dead Island look like something from the far flung future.
