Pretty cool article. So the new sign is actually an omen?

anyone can decipher the two symbols he couldn't figure out?

UltraNova3253d ago

No but i can answer his question on how Kratos and Norse gods are related:

Ahem: DISMEMEBERMENT.

trooper_3253d ago

The symbols pretty interesting.

theIndianNoob3253d ago

Thanks it was a very sleepless, procrastinated but a very productive night.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA3253d ago

Not bad to do the research. I personally havent looked at the logo yet til now to knotice the symbols on it. Im guessing they all are part of the game with the meanings which makes sence. Im guessing the 2 you cant find will be something simple as well hopefully someone knows what they mean

theIndianNoob3253d ago

Yeah, I think putting them out there is part of the search for those symbols too.

One could say it's a Shen Ring, Ouroboros, it's a dragon eating it's tail which means something about the circle of life/eternity/infinity ( something like the holy trinity ) You also have to look into the fact about when satan tempted eve and god removed his legs hence turning him into a snake. Even the symbolism of Mary standing on the snake or dragon. The Egyptians used it, the Aztecs used it, Greeks and even Christians use this symbol. There's also that story of Babel when they were building the tower and God came down and " scattered the people to ends of the earth " or whatever. " Confused their language " so no one could communicate with each other, hence the word " babble " So how do people not see that at one point, people worshiped one god, created all these symbols and the true god cast everyone throughout the world. In turn those people created their own myths about god, yet all used the same symbols and had different versions of who God is and what he looked like.

EDIT. These are theories and arguments that have spanned lifetimes and always will.

Ex-PlayStation Boss Shuhei Yoshida Pushed for God of War Reboot Delay

Former PlayStation Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida saw God of War as a "problem" when he first played it, and advocated for its delay.

gold_drake52d ago

yea, its also mentioned in the documentary they did about it.

isarai52d ago

Ye, it just wasn't up to their standards, nothing wrong with that imo

Goodguy0152d ago

And it became one of my most favorite games of all time and I still like it more than the sequel.

goken52d ago

Well if a game/movie/project needs fixing, especially something with the legacy that god of war does. Delay and fix it, don’t ruin the legacy by releasing crap.

Babadook752d ago

Way to go.

Like Miyamoto famously said.

“A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.”

Where's the remaster/port of the Greek Saga?

micdagoat1967d ago

On PS3? they "remaster" games that are barely 5 years old. We can't even play the ones from PS3 natively right now on a PS5

micdagoat1967d ago

Sony has been so quiet about that its annoying. I have no idea why they wouldn't

spicelicka67d ago

As much as I love the new God of war saga, I really miss the scale and epic set pieces of the OG games :/

SonyStyled67d ago

Thank you Mr. Jaffe. Few franchises stay relevant for 20 years. Thank you Stig, and Corey too
