Stair climbing isn’t necessarily the first activity you’d associate with action-packed fun, but that could well change with the upcoming release of Death Stair. Death Stair is a competitive multiplayer climbing game that up to four budding travelers can participate in. One player takes the role of the cannon, firing beach balls, mines, dodgeballs, rockets and bombs relentlessly at the other players – who are just trying to get up to bed!
HPP: You’ve got to give a fun idea credit. Death Stair is a multiplayer game where you try to reach the top of the stairs or if you’re lucky, you get to shoot at anyone trying to climb the stairs. Death Stair, while not being an obvious combination of words, doesn’t look like it’s trying to copy any other games. It’s not flashy or huge. It just gives you what it is, and that’s exactly what the name implies. It isn’t complex, it isn’t pretty, and I appreciate it for trying. Unfortunately, Death Stair has a lot of issues that are hard to look past.
Hardcore Gamer: Players assume one of two roles – someone at the top of the stairs or at the bottom. The people at the bottom must race to the top successfully. In order to prevent this, the person up top must throw down all manner of obstacles to stop them (beach balls, land mines, etc).

This is one hell of a concept, that's for sure.
Looks like inspiration from the endless stairs in Mario 64.
Why do want to play this so much?
