DPS is fine unless it's in molten core mode. Th main issue is the absurd no reaction time aggro. You simply can't acknowledge it is shooting at you until it's too late.

FINALLY omg this is much needed! If the other team has 2 or 3 turrets placed each watching the other.. IMPOSSIBLE seriously.. you can't do anything if the rest of their team is good.. and even if they're bad it's still a struggle.. it's almost a joke that it took this long.

funny, whenever i see a turret i switch to tracer/genji/reaper and take it out. most of these nerfs the community are calling for are from butt hurt "gamers" who cant adapt and or just plain suck at the game

you know how I know you're lying.. the turret wrecks the tracer... like horribly.. an entire clip of tracer's gun doesn't take out the turret and dashing away from it does nothing as it stays honed in on you.. not to mention tracer has the lowest health in the game and dies VERY fast from the turret.. either you don't actually play the game or you're trying way too hard to sound better than you are.

@sono421 look up my psn kalle_97 i have played the game for 30+ hours and actually game on a regular basis. nice try though. not that hard to run up on a turret and say deflect with genji or teleport behind it with reaper or blink behind it with tracer. its called ADAPTING. if you know how the game works and realize every hero has a hard counter its pretty easy. let me guess you think bastion is op too right?

I agree, torbjorn turret is easy to take out, just as easy as it is to take out bastion. The main problem is with casual players who don't want to change to counter the turrets. Just sad butthurt gamers. Also team stacking won't be possible in competitive from what I've read. At any rate, this game produces more salt than a salt mine.

Honestly how thick are you? Drop this taking out a turret with a tracer! The turret STAYS LOCKED ON YOU WHEN YOU TELEPORT, it has a full 360 degree range.. teleporting behind it does nothing. I don't care how much you say you play the game because you honestly don't it's the same with the reaper.. the second you teleport behind it the turret turns around and immediately starts shooting you. Don't try talking about a game you know nothing about.

Okay you obviously aren't understanding.. I just explained to you why what you said was wrong.. and that is what led me to believe you know nothing about the game. Also how is you telling me some PSN name prove anything? I could easily send you one of my friend's PSN with 50+ hours logged into the game and you wouldn't know the difference. Anyway the point is the turret takes 2 seconds to put up and another 2 to upgrade and absolutely destroys most heroes.. now combine that with putting up multiples turrets and a good team, massively over powered because now your focus most of the game is trying to get rid of the turrets that keep getting constantly rebuilt while their team wrecks you as well.

I don't even know why i'm arguing this with you because the rest of the community disagrees with you and blizzard obviously disagrees to an extent seeing as how he's getting nurfed.. but obviously you know more than the rest of the community and the developers themselves right?

Instead of fixing preexisting characters, they should be thinking about how to open things up in this game. It's fun, don't get me wrong, but there really isn't much in the way of customization here.

What I'm getting at is including a way to create "loadouts" of skills prior to the match. Say, for instance, instead of each hero have 3 skills, they have 6 that can be swapped around and mixed and matched to create a unique hero.

Maybe Reinhardt has a different type of shield that reflects projectiles?
Torbjorn has a turret that shoots grenades or missiles instead of bullets?
Tracer can choose to have a larger clip, but less teleports

These are just a few examples. Maybe give each hero multiple ultimates to switch between? Something like this would be similar to what Blizzard did in Starcraft 2's campaign mode. As you progressed through the game, you could choose between two evolutionary paths that determined that unit's abilities. Something like that, in my opinion, would really help with the game's longevity.

Why do they always have to nerf? Why can't they make other characters more effective, like pharah and her useless rockets that can't kill even when you hit someone point blank in the face, or Winstons shield power that can take about a whole second of direct fire before it's completely obliterated. Instead of nerfing they should make other charters better.

No character can 1 hit kill apart from Roadhog. The way you're describing Pharah isn't how she's supposed to be used. She's supposed to deter people off points.

There are only few characters that need buffs like Winston, Zenyatta and Symmetra.

Pharah is my favourite character and just about turned off my wifi reading that lol. She's supposed to be constant aggro from range and has deady damage if accurate. She's great at countering bastion (Which I find does a little bit too much damage in turret mode) and torbjorn.

If I had to guess as to why you nerf one character instead of buff all of the others it may have to do with over the long term the characters become to powerful and it may affect the pace the game is intended to have. If everyone gets boosts to offensive capability then eventually the game is going to be quicker death and faster pace and at that point what was the point of what Blizzard spent all that time building.

Still I really don't know I'm just guessing here. I will admit it's annoying as all hell when a character you love playing gets nerfed in a game like this. I have had similar stuff happen in other games in the past forcing me to take up a new class. Still it's all for the betterment of the game. Or at least that's what we can tell ourselves.

AAA has gone downhill as they focus on huge profits. Indie and other smaller games however have been amazing not chasing trends and the next big thing.

In all honesty, a significant majority of indies and smaller games fail. At best a you might hear about 10-20 indies that get attention or do well, but 100s more fail. AAA games can still be the bread and butter of the industry, but greedy executives would kill a good game if it doesn't make them a lot of money

Nail on the head. AAA has lost the magic and focused on profits and "player engagement". Gaming is an art form, and like always the CEO fat cats roll in to capitalize at the cost of innovation, passion, wild experimentation. We need a major realignment in the industry and it starts with gamers voting with their wallets.

I think that's already happening, we're seeing commercial successes in studios like Larion and whoever made Kingdom Come for example. Double Fine is another good example. Studios who are filled with and run by people who give a fuck that aren't hamstrung by money men. That's the answer and consumers are favouring it more than the soulless AAAs that have been put out. I don't doubt there is talent at Ubisoft for example but when they're told exactly what the end product needs to be by people who don't know what consumers actually want, it's always going to result in the same rehashed but slightly shinier slop.

Exactly. I do believe we are starting to see a shift in consumer habits. The market is saturated with GaaS and battlepasses, seasons, etc. We can't all play the same four games until the end of time. Fatigue is setting in and the industry needs to get back to making new experiences rather than chasing the latest "money maker".

I was wondering whether this is perception or actually happening but it feels to me, as a semi old gamer, there is more choice than ever and as such people are now much choosier about how they spend their time and money gaming. Certainly noticing this when it comes to GaaS as you mentioned, the question always has to be why would I play this instead of what I'm already playing. Anthem is going to have a real hard time prying away people, especially with a premium price tag that screams money men as a decision.

Gamers are voting with their wallets, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Expedition 33, games made by passionate developers who are not being controlled by money men are seeing their work get universal praise and selling extremely well. Meanwhile Outlaws and Veilguard are underperforming. I wonder how many people Ubi and EA had working on those games, in comparison Sandbox have just a core development team of 30 and managed to put something out EA and Ubi can only dream of.

The underlying problem though lays with how EA and Ubi execs react to these sort of things. Seems like they'd rather just lay off good developers and focus their efforts on their cash cows as opposed to change their development philosophies.
