Fallout 4 looks truly awesome with mods

When it was released, Fallout 4 disappointed a lot of PC gamers with its visuals. Thankfully though, its modding community has stepped in and after a number of graphical mods and texture packs, Fallout 4 can look great on the PC. ENBSeries members dpeasant and jacon have shared some incredible screenshots from their modded versions of Fallout 4.

Thank God i've built myself a high end rig! This looks amazing!

FlameBaitGod2869d ago

Yeah I downloaded a few mods and it made the game look so much better.

It disappointed console gamers too. It's not easy going from U4 to FO4

First World problems

OMG...fuck off with the green everywhere.
Its a nuclear post-apocalyptic world where it impossible to have green. I know its a fan mod and they can do what they want but still they should have stayed true to how the fallout would look like.

CP_Company2869d ago

you are talking nonsense my friend.after nuclear blast past 200years,it is easy to have green flora and even fauna.

Deadlead2869d ago

Yeah life is actually totally feasible, in fact very likely 200 years later. Just google life in Chernobyl. But if you mean Fall Out just shouldn't have any for thematic reasons I get that too.

BrianOBlivion2869d ago

Chernobyl was essentially a radiation leak -the world of Fallout is a blasted surface after full-on nuclear war.

DragonKnight2869d ago

Differences between Chernobyl and Fallout don't matter after 200 years.

I mean, the people crying about "lack of realism" over the "green" mods don't seem to be complaining about the absence of a nuclear winter. Fallout 4's world should look like Earth in The Matrix. Be glad it doesn't.

nveenio2868d ago

It's true. 100 years is really all you need to recover an area from nuclear fallout. 200 years is plenty. What's sad is that Bethesda's great games need mods to look their best. I wish they'd put some more money into their artists and engines and really wow us on all fronts.

They aren't going to give more. We are talking about a company that has rereleased an 13 year old game at least 5 times.

Super happy to see this was eventually resolved for PlayStation Plus Essential owners as well!

Bethesda addressed this the other day. There was no fear... just impatience.

P_Bomb5d ago

Expecting something to work at launch is impatience?

TheJacksofAll4d ago

No that’s called entitlement

admiralvic5d ago

They said they were looking into it, followed by only giving news about Extra, and then editing out the “free for all” message. You don’t think all of this wouldn’t give some reasonable doubt?

anast4d ago

More than a few people bought a copy of this game during this time. So, it worked out as planned.
