I'm digging the fact that they're using the pre-Viking era where the Norse gods roamed the earth, and the creatures weren't extinct. I have complete faith in Cory Barlog (always tough to avoid saying Balrog instead lol) to make a fantastic game!

UnHoly_One3254d ago

I'm super happy about the direction they are going with the story.

I'm just also super skeptical about the new camera angle and gameplay with the Kid and everything.

I'm anxious to see more.

brianunfried3255d ago

Because he killed everything in Greek mythology

Eonjay3255d ago

This. The literally ended an entire mythos... as in he beat it to death with his bare hands.
So... just as long as the Norse Gods know what they are dealing with.

mt3255d ago

if they know what they are dealing with. this is the end of the game, because they wouldn't mess with him.

Fist4achin3255d ago

And while hanging out somewhere in northern Europe, the norse gods jerked him around one too many times...

Bahamut3255d ago

But wait... didn't he kill himself at the end of the third one?

thejigisup3254d ago

No one can really kill kratos, not even kratos.

Bahamut3254d ago

@thejigisup Ah, him and Chuck Norris must be related.

The Norse gods and creatures are in for a rude awakening. I honestly think that kratos was responsible for all the extinction events that ever occurred on earth.

IRetrouk3254d ago

I knew he had somethin to do with the mayans...

Ex-PlayStation Boss Shuhei Yoshida Pushed for God of War Reboot Delay

Former PlayStation Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida saw God of War as a "problem" when he first played it, and advocated for its delay.

gold_drake41d ago

yea, its also mentioned in the documentary they did about it.

isarai41d ago

Ye, it just wasn't up to their standards, nothing wrong with that imo

Goodguy0141d ago

And it became one of my most favorite games of all time and I still like it more than the sequel.

goken41d ago

Well if a game/movie/project needs fixing, especially something with the legacy that god of war does. Delay and fix it, don’t ruin the legacy by releasing crap.

Babadook740d ago

Way to go.

Like Miyamoto famously said.

“A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.”

Where's the remaster/port of the Greek Saga?

micdagoat1956d ago

On PS3? they "remaster" games that are barely 5 years old. We can't even play the ones from PS3 natively right now on a PS5

micdagoat1956d ago

Sony has been so quiet about that its annoying. I have no idea why they wouldn't

spicelicka56d ago

As much as I love the new God of war saga, I really miss the scale and epic set pieces of the OG games :/

SonyStyled56d ago

Thank you Mr. Jaffe. Few franchises stay relevant for 20 years. Thank you Stig, and Corey too
