Xbox One S 500GB and 1TB Not Available In The UK? - GamerKnights

This week at E3, Microsoft officially announced the XBox One S, available in three flavours (500GB, 1TB and 2TB) due for release in August. However … it seems that the UK are set to miss out on the 500GB and 1TB versions. The Xbox One S 2TB is available for pre-order from a number of retailers including Amazon and GAME, but currently, only US merchants are offering live pre-orders on the 500GB and 1TB versions. Retail giants such as Amazon (who have the 500GB and 1TB available for pre-order on their US Store), GAME and Tesco do not have the 500GB and 1TB editions available for pre-order in the UK; does this suggest that the UK will only be receiving the 2TB Xbox One S in August?

Microsoft annouced £250 machine on stage but Amazon UK and Game are only taking pre-orders for the 2TB version wich costs a whopping £350.

299 model will launch in Dec 2016 ... August is only for the 399 model.. thats whats been told...

Wow, that's kinda stupid if you'd ask me. I mean, with $299 price they could have had the cheapest UHD bluray player on the market...

GameStop and Zavvi were taking preorders for the smaller models from what I understand 2tb is a "Limited edition... Because of a hard drive size?" And the smaller version will launch at the end of the month as the 2tb is set to launch 2nd August... Hey ho guess we'll see.

The 500gb is available at Zavvi.co.uk and GameStop.co.uk for £250 and £230. But apparently the 1TB and 500GB is not released until September. August for the 2TB.

At least you listened to the consoles reveal unlike the articles writer. Clearly stated the 1TB and 500GB models were coming later this year, and only the 2TB model would be launching in August.

UK can just buy the original X1 or the more expensive S version. They don't support Xbox anyway so no need to give them too many options.

It we look on amazon (USA) the only pack available in august in the 2TB. The realease date seems TBA for the other two (Dec 30, 2016). IMO Microsoft will try to make the most money from people who want to change their "FAT" One

It's done to the seller , it makes sense for the shops to restrict what version they sell to make money

I pre ordered mine today in game uk, and they told me the same , game need to make money and will only sell the 2tb. They are already saying there is a lot more pre orders on it than expect

To be honest doesn't matter to me , was people not complaining about the lack of memory on the original Xbox one and PlayStation 4 anyway ? Lol
