Hey Poor Player's Kenny McKee writes: "Kirby: Planet Robobot is a definite treat for any 3DS owner, and offers something for players casual, hardcore, or anywhere in between. Though it is a bit short (a problem relatively consistent with Kirby games), it’s an incredibly fun and satisfying gaming experience overall that I would even recommend to those who don’t usually find themselves playing Kirby games."
Nintendo's 3DS action-platformer, Kirby: Planet Robobot, is set for a Nintendo Switch launch later this year, based on a new rumor.
I still haven't played this on my 3DS, I nabbed it before the 3DS estore shut down.
Half-Glass Gaming: "Production of the 3DS has been discontinued as of September of 2020, but there’s definitely an argument to be made for adopting the system in 2021, especially if you just really like playing awesome video games."
Alex S. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "While the games obviously are selling well for Nintendo to keep making them, I am starting to get a bit sick of the formula that has been offered in the mainline Kirby games since 2011."
Like a lot of other franchises this year Kirby has an anniversary coming up. I'll be shocked if there wasn't some sort or new Kirby game this year. I also vaguely remember a dev stating they had big plans for the IP in the near future.
I'd like to see a 3D platformer Kirby, like Super Mario 3D World.
Kenny makes a good point about there even being appeal for those who aren't always Kirby fans. As one such person, I can't wait to try it out.
It's amazing that they can still make these games feel new with each sequel.
