Is it just me, or does in some of these (the sniper guy), it looks worse. For the rest it looks brilliant though. They really shouldn't have made it a bundle with Infinite Warfare. Battlefield was already winning, they were just hammering the nail in the coffin.

GreenUp3266d ago

Looks the same. Except the remastered has a shit ton of Post Processing making everything look blurry like it does in all games when it's overdone.

thekhurg3266d ago

Should probably get your eyes checked.

spicelicka3266d ago

Are looking at the sniper? It's looks completely round, compared to the polygon looking one in the original. The blades of grass are a lot smoother too, I'm not sure what you're seeing.

Zorkaz3266d ago

I'm seeing right, and I'm sure the graphics are way better and it's way more HD and the lighting's better, BUT I prefer the way it looks in the first photo. But that's the only one, the rest it's clear what looks better.

They will unbundle it like 6 months after the launch....you dont think they would pass up the chance to sell it to the people that arent buying infinite warfare? LOL

Don't worry, they will scam all the people who paid 80 dollars just for this game and then they will sell it to the people that didnt wanna spend 80 dollars on it, probably for 30.

Deadpooled3266d ago

Most people who just want the remaster would end up selling infinite warfare for around 50-55 dollars at launch, making the MW remaster around 30 dollars anyways.

GhostTurtle3266d ago

@Deadpooled
Didn't it come out that you will need to IW disk to play COD4?

Fishermenofwar3266d ago

The worst thing about this is..I will probably get it for Modern...I hate myself for it...But I probably will...

But after that my love affair woth COD is done....I've been playing Battlefield 4 for the last 2 years now. straight...

Erik73573266d ago (Edited 3266d ago )

Dude...please dont do that and save like 50 dollars

I am disapointed in myself..LOL

If this type of hiding a remaster in a full game works for activision they will just keep doing it. Next year you will hear mw2 remaster if you get the new cod. The cycle will just keep going on as long as you are willing to keep paying.

rezzah3265d ago

I'm waiting for the release of MW on it's own. If that day never comes then Activision will have lost out on my purchase, and I know how much they like to sell their products.

xYLeinen3266d ago

You would think there exists enough Call of Duty as this point.

Will be interesting to see what sort of numbers GP users draw in come tomorrow. It is believed that this is one many have been waiting for.

Darth,

That is not accurate; this game is old, and most people who want it have already bought it. You might get a small number of subs, but we will mostly see a good influx of players(not new subs) from people with Game Pass who will try it, which is what happened with D4.

CoD: BO 6 will be the test for actual sub numbers.

darthv72307d ago

That's fair... seeing as many have been saying they want CoD in GP. My comment was more of , now that its here... what can it do. Im sure there will be other titles in the franchise that will either entice or turn off different users.

Bathyj307d ago

No one's buying a console and signing up for a monthly bill just to get this game to avoid buying it. That's ridiculous. Besides everyone bagged the crap out of this on release for the 4 hour campaign.

andy85307d ago

Sweet. Never got round to it on release. I'll give the campaign a go

Severly underrated game. Big improvement over 2.

Why MW 2019 is still the best looking Call of Duty to date

MW 2019 is five years old at this point and on previous gen hardware, but it is still the best looking Call of Duty game to date.

MW was an excellent videogame. They messed up Spec Ops big time, but aside from this it was a huge step in the right direction initially. Most notably, at launch it seemed to come from a very cohesive creative vision that was felt across gameplay, to story to art style/visual direction. It was also very notably written by prominent ex-Naughty Dog guys that quit almost immediately before release.

That COMPLETELY dissolved through post-launch content and the full pivot to a "cross-mode" narrative that completely obliterated the cohesion in overall story direction. Warzone then "became" the new face of Call of Duty and the franchise completely removed itself from anything remotely creatively "good". It is a pure money machine, so I kinda get why they're doing it....but I personally completely lost interest.

I would love to see Infinity Ward move off CoD and get to make their own product with full control. They clearly have some massive talent in their ranks but it's perverted by Activision's corporate interests.
