So by now everyone has seen and heard of the new Xbox One S, Microsoft’s new “slim” iteration of the Xbox One console. The Xbox One S also packs some new features, including HDR. What is HDR? How does it effect picture quality in gaming?

These games are ancient. There is no shadow dropping. They released an couple of ancient games on a platform. This is the same with every other ancient game that gets released on every other platform. Title: "Now You can play BG I & II on Xbox."
The Sims 4 is likely to include a highly requested feature, but past releases may mean there's reason to be hesitant about its implementation.

It's too early for 4K gaming it's even worst with HDR. Most 2015-2016 UHD TV are not compatible.
HDR means for me another senseless hype train in the Microsoft long list of irrelevant non existant things that they have hyped without any results at all.
HDR Gaming should be placed with the likes of Direct X 12 and The Cloud.
As a Xbox One user myself, they have done SHIT for me.
Dont fall for these PR traps, they mean nothing.
It doenst matter if the 4k tv are cheap. There isnt enough content and people are happy with the 1080 tv. This means it will take years until 30 or 40 % buy a 4k tv. At this time not even 10 % got one.
If you got a 4K tv from 2015 , HDR is rolled out as an update to lg and Sony users.
