E3 2016 continues the tradition of showing trailers without release dates

After tuning into E3 2015 last year, and coming away with the notion that we’d prefer not to see so many trailers of games without release dates or with release dates beyond 2017.

Kojima is going to use a third party engine to make his game so that it can come out faster. The reason why MGS5 took so many years is because they were also making the Fox Engine, but now he can't use it because Konami owns it.

Death stranding is yet to borrow an engine and they have sorted out 2-3 in the pipe line and will choose one from them.. should come out by 2019 end... or early 2020.. Kojima came out to make a statement and say "On your face Konami"

E3 is basically to show what you are working on , and they show more cinematic trailers than actaully gameplay ,, and a lot if the stuff either does not make it to the final version or it gets re branded , games con is now where you get the dates for games

MS had shown the games last year without release date and this E3 they announced the release date... though scalebound and crackdown was shown in 2015 and will release next year ,
MS had a great show imo... but i liked what Sony showed since most of them were new..

This year's e3 for Sony had minimal games that were shown last year as they are released or releasing this year with dates while they showed new stuff. E3 is for showing future games. It's not for showing games that are confirmed for this year. It's to see what Developers have been working on so far.
