I agree, if you speak about these past years. It has everything a fan could love from a FF game: story, mechanics, jobs and many other things. Sadly you have to pay a fee every month...
To achieve this, SE had to remake the game, completely, after listening to the fans (and after seeing the original was horrible and noone played it anymore).
If you compare the game to the pre-ps2/ps2 era, it's still one of the best chapters, but not the best one.
And then:

An unfathomable statement back in 2010. Look how far we've come! Although I disagree, the game is great and I look forward to my next visit back someday.
