Game Informer:
Nintendo has previously said that its next Legend of Zelda would be big, but we didn’t know how big until getting our hands on it at E3.

And it looks just like Windwaker!

Fans can say whatever they want, and business is business of course, but this game SHOULD have been an NX exclusive.

Imagine... Zelda looking better than Horizon...

Well that dreams dead, see you all 6 years from now!

Lighter92873d ago

Taming a horse on WW sucked too. I hated it.

For the Zelda team first big HD game I am impressed.

browngamer412873d ago

People are trying so hard to troll this game right now, why so salty?

Davemyrose5922873d ago

I dont find it trolling when I say I'm not super hyped, I got a Wii u and I'm getting the game, but honestly if someone told me I have the choice to have horizon or new Zelda I'd choose horizon, it's just ppl start acting like puppets soon as Zelda is shown, like under some spell

rjason122873d ago

It's cause they won't be able to play it since they don't own a Nintendo console.

KaladinStormblessed2873d ago

So by your logic Overwatch sucks because it's cartoony and doesn't have your precious next gen graphics? Overwatch looks like it could've been played on my iPad, yet that doesn't stop it from being a great game.

Sounds good!

deafdani2873d ago (Edited 2873d ago )

This means absolutely nothing to me.

I don't care how big or small the actual game map is. I care that it's filled to the brim with things to do.

Twilight Princess was a pretty big expanse of... nothing. There was almost no point to having such a large map, except to hit a check box.

So, if this game's map is 12 times the size of Twilight Princess, I hope it has 1,200 times the amount of things to do in there. Otherwise, who cares.

Moonman2873d ago

Go watch the live stream...you sound foolish.

deafdani2873d ago

I'm at work, so I can't really watch much.

But I don't know what part of my comment is foolish. Read it again, it seems you went into defense mode and interpreted it as me saying that this game doesn't have stuff to do or something.

Nope, I said that the most important thing for me is that the map is full of things to do, not its sheer size, and I'm hoping that's the case with this new Zelda.

wonderfulmonkeyman2873d ago (Edited 2873d ago )

You really should watch the stream.
It's like Zelda, Skyrim, and Far Cry: Primal all got together to build a world. You can use fire to start brushfires for trapping enemies, cut down almost literally any tree with a woodcutter's axe [amongst other kinds of weapons, and yes, you can carry and use mutliple different types of swords, spears, hammers, and clubs for fighting now, and they break over time] for bridging mountain gaps, as a trap on enemies below, or to get kindling for camp fires, you can gather insects, herbs, mushrooms, wild game, and use them to cook many different kinds of foods and potions, from stuff that gives you cold or heat resistance to foods that give you extra temporary health, you can climb, glide, the world is populated with lots of random enemies and camps full of them to infiltrate, there's stealth gameplay, snowboarding on your shields, the list goes on and on and on.
This is nowhere near as barren as TP was in terms of things to do. They've done a commendable job of filling the game with much more to do than TP had.

Anyone telling you different, my friend, is a liar who hasn't watched the stream, or a troll who's downplaying it. Like pcz.

deafdani2873d ago (Edited 2873d ago )

Dude, come on. Read my comment again. I haven't implied, in any way, that this new Zelda is devoid of things to do in the map.

In fact I said the exact opposite: that I hope this game is filled to the brim with things to do. I don't know about Moonman up there, but I expected better from you.

-.-

As for watching the stream, I wish, but I have a very busy day at work TBH. I only managed to watch a snippet here and there.

wonderfulmonkeyman2872d ago

I know you weren't implying anything, dude.
I was answering your hope by telling you to watch the video, then going into just a little bit of what you can expect to see, because it sounded like, despite wishing for the best, you weren't expecting much.

I was trying to dispel your doubts and comfort you, not criticize you.XD

deafdani2872d ago

Ok. I'm hoping for the best, not expecting the worst. There's no reason to expect the worst when it comes to a Zelda game.

I was just making the point that the typical PR statement that "this is our BIGGEST GAME EVAR" never does much for me. The Saints Row and Infamous games are examples of games with fairly small maps that I enjoy immensely, because they have plenty of stuff to do in those small maps.

Of course, if this new Zelda is more like Xenoblade X - as in, a humongous map with everything to do on it - then all the better. :3

Garry's Mod Removing All Nintendo Content From Steam Workshop After Takedown Request

The developer of Garry's Mod has announced it is in the process of removing all Nintendo-related content from Steam Workshop after receiving a takedown request from Nintendo.

gurp1d 8h ago

first emulation, now this
even though I don't play Garry's Mod, it is still bad

Inverno1d 7h ago

I was reading it's all just false reports from a troll who's done things like this in the past and not Nintendo themselves.

-Foxtrot22h ago

Well the games creator Gary Newman confirmed it himself on Twitter.

Inverno15h ago

Seems that's still being debated.
