E3 2016: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim HD Officially Announced

I'll wait a while for this. In no rush to play a buggy last generation game will volumatic lighting and new shades and most likey full price as well. I love elder scrolls and fallout but the bugs grind the fun out of it after awhile

I would if it released like next month. 10/28 is a terrible time with T2, B1, and everything else from FF15 to D2. No way with work and school. But I am happy for anyone who didn't play it.

I think 90% of gamers liked it when it released 6 years ago, but that doesn't mean they like it remastered already. I would get much more excited for a Morrowind remake.

actually looks amazing, seems like bethesda have actually put in a lot of work. i think for console gamers this is the one and only way to play skyrim

this is how you are suppose to host a game conference, talk about nothing but games. bethesda is growing fast and is becoming one of the top publishers in gaming

especially the fact they love making single player games and aren't rushing after MP only or adding needless MP to every game

Not everybody plays on PC. I personally do, but I can see the merit in the visual upgrades for console gamers. A lot of people don't like spending a lot of money just to have "the best of the best"

Ehhh that's depadable. If what they showed is actually how they look and the character models look better too then no.

Most "graphical mods" are just people who claim there increasing the graphics but all they are doing is tweaking a few settings and adding new objects around the world artistically so it looks better. Like more trees and the like

Visuals, mod support, and porting to the new engine. The new engine will open up a new wave of mods for PC in particular. I bet RAM won't be locked like it was previously.

It's the upgraded version of their Creation engine, or whatever they call it. The same upgraded version used for FO4. The older version wasn't capable of the lighting appearing here.

On consoles but that was due to technical limitations of the hardware, on PC it was easily possible on that engine with a couple of mods.

I never managed to spend much time with Skyrim because it came out around the same time as Zelda: Skyward Sword, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Super Mario 3D Land, and all sorts of other games I wanted to play.

So hopefully I will be able to spend some quality time with it now.

A man has been saying for years this and Mass Effect are the last gen games most in need of remakes. The PS3 and 360 versions were clearly held back and noticeably so. A man is happy to have a smooth framerate let alone a prettier game. $48 new on Amazon cause a man is in Prime minus whatever he sells PS3 version for on Ebay makes this well worth the price.

Cant wait, this game was only really ruined by technical issues original on console, now to enjoy it on par to how it should be played on a PC is going to be fantastic! Here's why Bethesda as my respect as a developer compare to ND.
1) they show the difference between past and current gen and the difference isn't just a resolution upgrade with a potential 60 frames seconde if we work hard enough.

2) the game will be free (take that console user who love to rebuy) for Pc player who already own the legendary version or the game plus all DLC. Again let me repeat that word cause I know it's a alien concept on ps4.

I don't know what I think of VR yet, but this seems like it would be awesome for that, wait... on second thought maybe not such a good idea (could you imagine sitting with that thing on your face for that long?). Every time I got on that game it turned into a marathon session, just ridiculous.
