I didnt care about how it looked to begin with but now it looks awesome looks like i wil be on my third xbox one because they keep getting better. I order 3 samsung hdr players PRE-paid waiting to see which got delivered first it was worth it...it cost 399.99 ...i canceled the second and returned the third?.but it was worth every penny...and this one comes with hdr! This is awesome some will buy it just for hdr. Sorry had better do the same or they arre in trouble. I think they will, but if they dont i remember a lot of people getting ps3 just for the blu ray movie player. 399 is the cheapest u can get a hdr (new blu ray standard) right now. good move microsofty

I does look really good....noticing a lot of ventilation for dust to enter though.....I just had to open up my a/v receiver, ps4, ps3, and 360 to remove dust. It was everywhere, unfortunately.

I know, same here. Sony has always had the longest history of leaks & MS the longest history of keeping them under wraps but this past year has completely flipped that it seems.

At this point we know that MS has a 90 minute show & if they show off only a fair amount of the stuff that's been leaked & the stuff coming soon, they've gotta be pushing that time. If Sony has their standard 2 - 2 1/2 hour conference they've got a lot of room. Hopefully a fair bit of that is taken up by cool new console game surprises. Only got a day left until the shows so there ain't much time for leaks.

I might trade my current X1 for it if it's UHD compliant. Ready to take the plunge into 4K BR, and don't want to wait on a Neo, or standalone players not to be priced so high when the current BR players priced at $100 would be capable if not for the stupid HDCP requirements HDR implementation.

X1 slim could be a sub-300 dollar UHD player...maybe $250 if the slim is accompanied by a price drop.

Game wise though, I'm only keeping my X1 for a couple games, and maybe something new which might be announced at E3.

This model no. But likely there will be other options as is typical with slim versions. A base version with no games, or maybe just one game and a smaller hard drive is likely to be made available, and the point of slims is to reduce the cost for both the company, and draw in more companies with a lower selling price. It makes no sense to put out a $350+ slim console by itself.

Most of my first comment is based on maybe's that might come to pass, but I don't see standalone UHD players dropping drastically in price this year as companies want to maximize profit by offering what is already out there with a revision to a controller chip inside their current players.

Scorpio rumors make me not want to get the slim. If MS prices the slim at $400 with free $60 game and offer a $200 trade in deal. I'll get it. Reading reports on other sites they are saying this is the more powerful Xbox one and can be upgraded by ports at the back of the console. And sites are saying it supports oculus rift as well as a new re models Kinect which will be required for rift ... Rift support coming this fall , the slim is due in September at at starting price of 300

It's not a review. It's just a picture w/ a few specs. Besides, what's to review that the picture and history doesn't already tell you? It's smaller, apparently white and it'll probably run a little smoother, maybe faster. Nothing really mind blowing there. As you can tell, the Elite is possibly bigger than the new slim, King/Queen stage right now imo.

On a serious note though, size aside... It's an attractive console, very sleak and stunning quality, the original xbox one is a nice looking "beast" but the size... I'm not a sony fanboy, the damn PS4 is horribly designed with the fact its the worst console in history for collecting dust and generally looking quite dirty for no reason all the time, but the ONE is just too large to really stand out as a great design. The slim though, could look nice on a highly minimal setup.

Don't think we'll see a PS4 slim for a while given how small that thing is. A PS4K may be the second size with a different design.

Still not going to buy one. You don't need to anymore. I have a PC sitting right next to my 75" UHD beast of a TV. Wireless keyboard and mouse and controller. I'm definitely going to be playing more on PC in the future. Plus the only subscription fee I pay is for PS plus. Don't wanna pay for 2. PC is the answer.

Around 300 for the 500 GB version. I don't think 4k makes all that much difference in price since its been a couple years since its arrival. 4k playback is likely much cheaper now. A 4k tv is a different story.

It's actually bigger than the launch day PS4 haha, and it still has a weaker gpu/ddr3 so it doesn't make sense why the old PS4 is STILL smaller. I guess it just shows u the difference in manufacturing talent.
