Kirby Planet Robobot excels at being a simple fun game on the go with a fantastic presentation. The power-up system adds some chaotic elements that make each level fun to traverse through and the Robobot armor only makes it more hectic. The amount of content will keep you busy for a good while despite some missed potential in side modes. The developers put some love and care into the game and it shows.
Nintendo's 3DS action-platformer, Kirby: Planet Robobot, is set for a Nintendo Switch launch later this year, based on a new rumor.
I still haven't played this on my 3DS, I nabbed it before the 3DS estore shut down.
Half-Glass Gaming: "Production of the 3DS has been discontinued as of September of 2020, but there’s definitely an argument to be made for adopting the system in 2021, especially if you just really like playing awesome video games."
Alex S. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "While the games obviously are selling well for Nintendo to keep making them, I am starting to get a bit sick of the formula that has been offered in the mainline Kirby games since 2011."
Like a lot of other franchises this year Kirby has an anniversary coming up. I'll be shocked if there wasn't some sort or new Kirby game this year. I also vaguely remember a dev stating they had big plans for the IP in the near future.
I'd like to see a 3D platformer Kirby, like Super Mario 3D World.
