Exactly cheating is viral in this game. I don't mind people cheating in the singleplayer as gta is known for its cheat codes etc. but cheating and exploitation in gta online is absolutely unacceptable and it's a major problem for this game even tho overall it's an state of the art online experience.

Some cheating is beneficial though. One guy in a game I was playing had a money gun. Ended up giving me like 15 million dollars. That was a nice little offering.

I don't really see an issue if all they're getting is money for the ridiculously prices houses, tricking out their cars, and whatever. My only issue is when they start abusing rockets out the ass and attacking everybody with helicopters and what-not.

You don't avoid it if you're playing on PC. If you play GTA Online on PC then you're instantly banned for no reason anyway.
