6 Video Game Series Ending This Year

All good things must come to an end, and here are six video games bringing an end to each of their series in 2016.

Bet some of these comeback, I remember Halo was supposed to end with 3

I have to agree with you. Halo should have ended with 3 just like Uncharted 4 did.

Yeah if a series is profitable, publishers really don't want to see it go.

The difference is that Halo was MS flagship title. It was pretty much the only real considerable game franchise MS has had under its belt hence the need to continue. Sony and Nintendo have multiple franchises. Although, Nintendo doesn't seem to want to stop theirs either.

I bet we'll see an Uncharted spinoff of some sort... but not by Naughty Dog. UC4 was a cashcow for Sony's May GDP. It's become bigger than Halo. I'd be fine with it ending, it was a perfect ending. If another studio took it on though, I'm sure I'd play it.

I feel the same way. I certainly would play another Uncharted game, but if this is the end I'm more than satisfied with it. I can't imagine Sony letting it go though.

Naughty Dog has said multiple time it's only the last from them and the end of Nate's story, there'll most likely be more, who by I don't know, gonna be a ton of pressure following up ND.
