Injustice was awsome, especially the Ultimate edition on PS4. I enjoyed the character designs and the varied costumes and looks. The level interactivity was spectacular. I prefer Injustice to MK bc i vastly prefer DC lore to MK lore. I'm hyped, please include Black Hand.

If all of their normal costumes were armored then you would have a point. But they aren't. None of these characters wear these silly armored costumes outside of this franchise, and Batman has been known to use armor at times too.

But normally, none of these characters wear this IRON MAN-LIKE armor. So yeah, its not an insult. Sure many of these characters were created before Iron Man, but it could be argued that they are indeed ripping off Iron Man with the way their armor looks and how it forms around their body.

In the New 52 Superman wears an armored suit because its a ceremonial Kryptonian suit. He doesn't wear it for protection. He wears it tonpay homage to his home planet.

I hope it's not trash like the previous one. The first game felt sluggish and the characters didn't look as authentic as I hoped for. Hopefully the audio isn't frikkin recycled from mkx just like the last one did.

It will have the same problems as the previous Netherrealm games....terrible netcode with a delay in button inputs.

MK9 and Injustice 1 had this problem. I gave them one more chance and bought MKX and guess what? Same crappy netcode.

What piss3s me off is how they said that they greatly improved the netcode before both Injustice and MKX released, but it was still terrible.

After all the money they made from MKX with DLC and season passes, they better fix the friggin' netcode for real this time. I certainly won't be buying this day one like I did the last 3 NR games. I'll wait to see whatthe verdict is on netcode this time. I won't give them another dime until they fix it.

Netcode is the most important part of playing online fighters. If there is button delay it ruins the entire game.

All they really needed to do was use the stellar Foundation of the first game and just add new heroes and villains, levels, costumes ect. Slight rpg elements are intriguing, but I hope they are not over-reaching. I don't know if customizing Batman or Superman to look different and to use different gear is such a great idea. I'm all for visual customization and power ups but I hope they don't go too crazy and have Superman wielding some type of melee weapons or things of that nature.

Not a big fan of super heroes, last game felt like mortal kombat forced onto superheroes that are not nearly as violent. But the actual gameplay was great, so who knows I might try this.

I haven't read but I'm aware of that. But we know that rarely ever translates to movies/video games because in the public image super heroes are adaptable for adults and kids alike, so they're always inherently limited in the violence department. This is why mortal kombat is always M and Injustice was T. If this was a mortal kombat we would've seen a much darker, bloodier, and visceral trailer.

Don't want to sound like a hater though, I'm sure many people find this very appealing. I personally prefer their Mortal Kombat theme more.

does anyone else think that the different armour everyone is wearing is supposed to represent a new move set? similar to MKX

Hopefully with this one they will

- Not cater to casuals by allowing them to armor though almost everything (MKX)
- Not cater to crybabies that don't want to learn matchups (MKX/MK9/Injustice)
- Not make DLC "Pay to Win" tier characters. If you're going to do DLC, balance it right.
- When they decide to ask the fans who they want for DLC, actually give them what they want
- Have a good online netcode system (MKXL was a step in the right direction)
- Have accurate in-game frame data
- Have a comprehensive tutorial to help those who want to learn how to play fighting games (take a page from Revelator, and KI's tutorial)
- Have a good system in place for anti-airs (They're almost non-existant in MKX)
- Have the game focus on playing neutral and footsies (MK9 did this, but MKX focused more on mindless 50/50s)
- Keeping the trait system, and not implementing a terrible variation system
- Get rid of the wager system
- Remove chip damage done by Normals
- Make projectiles clash, not trade
- Have good in game music
- Not have a system that relies on Always Online
- No guest characters as DLC, only DC characters (No MK characters either)
This game has the potential to be above and beyond the NRS game, and with my suggestions, I think it's very possible that it could happen.
