Overwatch: Blizzard answers the big questions

The Overwatch launch appears to have been a phenomenal success. With more than seven million players having registered since launch, across three different platforms, Blizzard's first multiplayer shooter is already one of the largest in the world. But for this game to truly achieve its ambitions, it's going to need to hold on to that playerbase in the months and years to come. Blizzard has reached its payload, but there's a ways to go yet.

The game's successful enough that now we'll see a single player game. The next prelude to their MMO just like WC3 was.


Yea, because Blizzard which is a historical legend for casual milking AREN'T looking for a replacement of one of the most successful games of all time, that is now falling heavily from grace.

I'm sure they want to give up a near free AAA profit video game release every month worth of 10+ million subscriptions in favor for Team Fortress 3 skins.
