pretty angry that I never finished the first one, and sadly I don't have time to play it now, I'll just have to find the time somehow, would make sense to finish it before getting into this one, even though its supposed to be a prequel(?)

Difficult to say without having played the new one. But I think you can safely dive into this one without having finnished the other. It's a prequel after all.

I have my pre-order ready for this game and I just can't wait to play it. I've been in love with the first stalker through it's long dev. time and while playing it. It was something more then a game. On the other hand after finishing the game with a bad ending without any clue how to finish the game for the 'proper ending' I've been very disappointed. eh, you can play the prequel without finishing the 1st part. You'll face a nice spoiler, but wth.

Review: STALKER: Clear Sky (Switch) - Tighter Shooting But Less Atmosphere| NL

"Mechanically, Clear Sky is a surprising leap ahead of Shadow of Chornobyl. Shooting, which was already solid, is tightened further. Mercifully, armour can be upgraded and repaired and there are now much more gear set combinations. This is further complemented by an increased emphasis on artefacts as a necessary adjunct to your gear set. The key aspect that elevates this prequel above its forebear is the extra focus on inventory customisation." - Ken Talbot| NintendoLife
